As I have said before these two chaps are gurus for us all to inspire us all to become gardeners I know that they have been my gurus - thanks Vasili for showing us Craig's amazing back & front yards using every piece of land to grow ..... I now have so much running thru my head I do not know where to start in my own back yard to make it the best for me cheers Deborah
something to keep in mind when thinking of companion planting , not all plants have a association with mycorrhizal fungi , members of the brassica family ( bok choy, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, Brussels Sprouts, kale ) members of the chenopodiaceae family ( beetroot , silverbeet , spinach ) & members of the proteaceae family ( Banksia , Grevillea , Macadamia.) , growing plants that don’t form associations with mycorrhizal fungi cause a drop in the soil fungi numbers which can possibly hinder the health of plants that do from this association , not saying you can't grow these plants in the same bed with plants that do form this relationship , but it could be to the growers benefit to choose wisely
