Awe I'm glad you found it helpful and thanks for watching!!
I've been searching for so long on a proper video that shows how to do this! Thank you! Does your needle sit perfectly in the center of the embroidery presser foot? Mine seems to be a little off-center and am wondering if that's normal.
HI! Awe I'm glad it was helpful to you. It's been a while since I've embroidered anything so I don't quite remember if the needle was directly in the middle of the presser foot. Thanks so much for watchig!

Thank you so much for creating this video! You are a life saver. I was wondering if you happen to know what would cause a lever to not stay fully up?
Awe you are so very welcome! Hmm...I'm not exactly sure what would cause a lever not to stay fully up. Maybe if the foot is not inserted all the way in properly then the lever only goes up so far making it seem like it's not going up all the way? Just a guess. Its hard to tell exactly. But it has happened to me before and I just reinserted the sewing foot and made sure to push it up as much as possible and it fixed the issue. Hopefully that helped in some way. Thanks so much for watching!
Do you have to use different thread for embroidery? Bobbin too? Great video, I was able to do mine with no problems.
Hi! Yes you do need to use a different thread for embroidery for the top and bobbin thread. Usually embroidery thread is made of polyester unlike regular thread and is stronger. I buy my embroidery bobbins prewound with white 90wt thread. You can also use the bobbin thread for regular sewing too. I'm glad you found my video helpful and thanks so much for watching!
@@DIYNINJA Thanks so much. Keep up the great work!
Hey hope you can help but once I switched back to sewing and assembled the other pieces for sewing my fabric won’t go though unless I pull it hard. Do you have any tips ?
Hi! Hmmm...this is a tricky question because it can be many reasons why. I would suggest reinstalling the sewing presser foot and making sure its inserted all the way up and correctly tightened. What type of fabric are you trying to sew? A lot of times spandex and stretchy thin fabric can easily get eatten up or have a hard time being fed through. You might have to use a different presser foot for the type of fabric you are using. Or you can lower the teeth on the bottom so it doesn't try to grip the fabric and you can pull it through at your own speed. I believe most sewing machines should have this feature. You can also try to use tissue paper either on top or bottom and sew it along with your fabric and then just tear it off after. I've heard of this trick but I've personally never tried it. Those are my top tips to try. Hope they help and you figure it out! Thanks so much for watching!
Great Video! Can it sew Leather? Thank you
Hi! Thanks and yes it can sew leather. Just make sure you are using the right needle at a slower speed. Thanks so much for watching!
@@DIYNINJA thanks for the reply 💚
Hello, does the embroidery foot come with the machine? Otherwise where did you purchase yours? Thanks!
Hi! Yes the embroidery foot comes with the machine. I'm sure you can find replacement feet on Amazon too but yes the machine comes with it. Thanks so much for watching!
But mine is too low how can i make it l little bit higher ?
HI! Do you mean after your put in the foot its too low for you to feed your fabric through or are you having trouble installing the foot because its too low? Either way make sure your pressure foot is up when switching the foot out and that it is up to feed your fabric through and then pu it back down after. Hope that made sense and was helpful. Thanks for watching!
Does the embroidery go automatically or u have to sit aNd press a ped
Hi! You just press the start button and it goes automatically. Depending on your emboridery digitized design, it usually stops after each color so you can switch the threads but other than that its pretty automatic. You don't have to sit there and hold a pedal down the entire time. Hope that answered your question. Thanks for watching!
I tried doing some embroidery the other night it says “cannot embroider because the piece isnt connected” but i had the piece connected. Any suggestions ?
Hi! Make sure the embroidery foot is completely snapped in all the way and then turn off your machine and turn it back on. That usually fixes that issue for me. I find that if you install the embroidery foot while the machine is on it gives you that alert. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!
@@DIYNINJA hello again,
I tried your advice and it worked for a quick second but i had to change the thread color and bobbin 🤦🏽♂️ so i had to take the embroidery piece off when i went to put it back on it was saying the same as before. I made sure it was connected properly and not excess pieces or dust/thread were caught in the port, still didnt work. Any solutions?
What about the needle? I have the needle that was preinstalled on the machine? (I just purchased my machine)
HI! Depending on your fabric you may or may not need to change the needle, but I just leave mine and it works fine. I think the needle that came with the machine is one that works for both sewing and embroidery if I remember correctly. But i never change my needle unless it breaks or I'm working with a super thin fine fabric which I usually don't. So, it really just depends on what project you are working on. Hope that answered your question and thanks so much for watching!
@@DIYNINJA Hi! thank you for the quick response! yes, the needle that comes prepackaged is a 75/11 needle , which; in the book, says that is the size needle for regular embroidery. So i am ready to rock and roll with my brand new se660! so excited to learn and sew! thanks again!
@@SocialContraire Awesome!
