imn sorry and ashamed to ask but im in ver. 3.1.0 and cant see checkbox of cast shadow castings, somebody could help please ?

Update to the latest version of Blender for best results! Also make sure you are using CYCLES and not EVEE!

Dear friend, there is a very, very difficult question for me. I can't find an answer how to use the beam from the glass properly.
Now I will try to tell you what the problem is!
For example you have created a glass and set the ground and light and it shows caustics. Everything works fine.
But there is a big problem. When I put shadow catcher on the ground, it shows it just as a shadow. But the caustics from the different colored glasses turn into a simple shadow.
I've been looking for a whole week for this answer and can't find it. Since I want to apply it in VFX.
Also I want to render it with Alpha.
Please 🙏🏼 help!!!!
