Oh this is so cool. Staten Island? My uncle was the captain of the Staten Island Ferry after he returned from WWII and spoke of such a place. I wonder if it’s a Kirkbride building? My grandma was committed to one in Pontiac, MI and I was born in the one in Traverse City, MI. Check out the film Session 9 (David Caruso in the dvd extras hits it home about how creepy Danvers Asylum was when they shot there). Hope Loraine gets to make a video there! What a cool spot you found.
Yes that's the farm colony (seaview) in Staten island! Your ferry captain uncle probably knew a guy who would blow raspberries in the terminal all day. That guy lived in the not-abandoned part of the seaview hospital.

That was interesting and cheeper next time how about take us in to the subway tunnels i here there are still stations that have been close for years

that was like a cat or rabbit startling you. Never close doors or windows in abandoned buildings... there is always a chance that stray cats will take refuge and then get trapped and die a horrible death
It was a possum and all the doors where stuck open..
