Sorry fusion Nasi Lemaks is all kinds of wrong. It's a classic dish and should keep very traditional.

Coconut Club's nasi lemak man. On the pricier side but worth the money. Also, Esso petrol kiosks sell packet nasi lemak in the morning for $2.90 - so simple but really good sambal (has a kick)

Hello, Temasek before it became Singapore was under Malaya which changed to Malaysia. So you cannot say it originates from Malaysia because you do not know exactly where it came from. Donkey's years ago before separation, here in Temasek, nasi lemak was already being sold for 5 cents. One thing for sure it is a MALAY food but definitely not a Chinese food.

Nasi lemak simply means creamy rice and rice is staple food to Asians. People in Thailand,Indonesia, Philippines, Columbia,Kenya,India,South America etc....cook rice with coconut too.

I think they need to clarify whatever it's halal or not, that's very important. The so-called Nasi Lemak sell by Chinese are mostly not halal.
