Great list and video, I live in the Caribbean where it's always hot and humid and I just bought Acqua di Parma Bergamotto di Calabria. I feel that it becomes a skin scent within an hour, which of your list of citrus would you recommend for my type of climate, thanks.
Love the cooling factor in the citrus family. Bergamot by far and then pettigrain, lemon and lime are my favourites. A strange favourite of mine is fresh Lemon Sugar. It is a soothing, medicinal fragrance that lifts me up in the winter with a flu or cold.

Eau des Sens from Diptyque is a really good performing Neroli on my skin without being too soapy and remains bright. One of the go-tos this summer. A beautiful orange fragrance would be nice.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE that Aqua Viva!!!!!!!!!! I purchased a bottle of that not too long ago. I'll need to try and find where I can smell the rest of those fragrances here in California. Some of the few niche fragrances places I know don't carry most of them. My other favorite citrus fragrance is Classic Orange by Von Eusersdorff. I purchased it in New York at Twisted Lily. So, i bought a 100ml bottle of tous man sport and it is like putting on lemon water. the fragrances fades in 15 minutes. No projection or longevity. I am wondering if I received a reformulated bottle. I take your reccomendations serious so please re evaluate your love of this fragrance. It smells great but onlyu when you can smell it.

looking for nihane colognise for a while but hard to find/order here. I just love maison margiela under the lemon trees. To me the kardamom is pretty prominent which I love.

GREAT LIST and filled with surprises. I also like the fact that you are splitting lemon/berg/petitgrain from orange given that they do seem like separate animals and there are so many good selections to choose from. Berg 22 gets a bad rap about longevity. I spray this on me and my shirt and I can smell it all day long, especially if I am building some heat! Wonderful list! I've been craving a good citrus fragrance for this summer especially in the Vegas heat. Just ordered Yuzu, by J-Scent, for its really nice yuzu smell without being sharp, nor sweet. Another one that I'm really looking for is a good ripe mango fragrance but I can't seem to find one so I'm settling for Sur Le Nil.
What do you think about Dior Homme Cologne? You've posted pretty extensive coverage of the rest of the Dior Homme line, but I can't find much discussion of DHC on your channel-- I know it's much different from the others but I find it to be an interesting omission.

I want a creamy or vanilla heavy lemon/bergamot like Chanel Allure Edition Blanche, but one that lasts longer than 15 minutes. I realize most people want bright/fresh citrus for summer but I prefer sweet/gourmand style fragrances.
Well on me it's excellent. I don't know your whole story. Did you buy a bottle? Did you buy a decant? There's all kind of conditions that can be related to the performance and I can't guarantee that you are getting the 100% legitimate quality if you buy it from a store. I get decent to great performance on it! :)
@@ThePerfumeGuy I bought it from a le labo store. I emailed le labo and they said I should wait 2 weeks for the perfume to macerate before it will be at its truest form. Have you had any experience with perfumes macerating/maturing ?
Yes these fragrances are freshly made in store so leave them that long and come back to it. But perhaps Le Labo is finally getting reformulated by Estee Lauder after they were purchased. I can't say what it is! :(
I have had bergamot 22 for years. It lasts for hours on me. I would think there has been some changes in the scent but I also use a Clarins body oil on my skin and I think this might help fix the fragrance.
i have just noticed i dont have much citrus at all in my collection! would you not say elysium being a citrus? i suppose its more aromatic? i really want to try the panah one with the menthol note but there customer service isnt the best cheers!

I got the Pacific Lime - but on me I got more like rhubarb or raspberry, and it wasn't as sparkling fresh as I would like.

I have a serious question. I used Tom Ford a citric and sweet smell could you suggest a similar and better perfume?
Perris Bergamotto is class. I am surprised no one talks about it. I prefer it to Nio and Bergamot 22.
