Been watching this channel for a while, and I gotta say I love how you always manage to get the collectibles in a smooth run. It’s both very satisfying and demonstrates how open these fangames are!
Hopefully there is a way to save Dream Fangames because when the servers eventually shutdown it’s toing to suck when this and other Sonic games are gone.
It does have some, not always though. The annoying thing is that sometimes the camera perspective isn’t aimed to where you need to go so you’re blind for a few seconds
Took me a whole 3 minutes into the video until I realized it was made in dreams. Holy hell this is too good. My only suggestion would be to loosen up the camera so it's not *perfectly attached* to sonic while he's jumping and running around. Kinda like what SRB2 did (Version 2.1 vs version 2.2+)
God this game fixes the one thing I feel is wrong with sonic: he never feels fast. Yes he’s definitely fast, but you never get to see a real scaling of how far he is. His levels are based and structures on his speed. This game gives real environments to put into perspective how fast sonic is.
Since Ratchet and Clank took the Rail grinding from Sonic The Hedgehog, I think Sonic should really take the swingshot from Ratchet. God it feels fun to use in this, and I'd love it in official Sonic games.
This is an AMAZING looking fan game. Sonic is fast, the game has really great animations, and exploitable shortcuts with aggressive advantages. Tails handles BRILLIANTLY too. Seriously, this is great work. That said, I think this is how non-Sonic characters should play, as I'm firmly pro-Boost for Sonic ONLY. But I absolutely cannot wait to play this! SEGA should definitely bring the creator aboard!
Seems way better than frontiers to me (physics in top of all and levels don'tend in 20 or 30 seconds ugh, hated that on frontiers), like the continuation of SA-SA2 that should have been.
Damn, that looks less scuffed than Sonic Frontiers (which admitedly isnt a very high bar, but hey). This looks like a modern take on the adventures game, and I'm loving it.
Sonic venture come a long way a great fan game can wait to get back home and try this update. Also Dreams man... this game should have been at the forefront of SONY marketing. I know not all Dreams games are as polished as this one but man the possibilities alone are a big selling point, to me.
At the beggining i though this was gonna be another one of those fangames that never got updated, how it happens woth a lot of pc or roblox projects... But i was wrong this is impressive, its a pity its just ps4/ps5 exclusive..
@@sonicovertime yep, he's invincible now and the speed increases, the homing attack is also more powerful now and you can turn super anytime you want as long as you have rings
You mean for Sonic Venture? He plays pretty much the same as Sonic. You can see Shadow in my last Venture video but it won't have quite the same effects.
Great game for real But they keep editing old stages instead of just making new ones and not as important but won't make it 2 players (after teasing it about 3 updates back)
My only gripe with this is it's stuck on ps5 it almost seemed too good to be true until I found out it's on dreams I'm not buying a ps5 just to play one fan game

Why is Sonic boosting here? Did they lose self-control or run out of ideas? When you're a small band of fan gamers , it's easy to do both without even knowing. It's a hazard when it comes to throwing everything into one pot.
@@brother0051 , that does not mean it isn't a laps in self-control. They needed to illustrate why those spike traps and laser gates are there. Show some assembly set junk lying around in boxes and parts. Show cargo vehicles mangled by the spikes , make me care.
Hey man, can you help me with the SA2 upscale mod from yesterday? I tried out the mod but unfortunately it softlocks Wild Canyon. After getting all shards the ranking isn't displayed and the game events just stay still. Can you help me with this? I have plenty of mods installed so maybe one of them conflicts with this

I literally was playing this again a few days ago, I cant believe a new update is out! I'm ready to hop back on this.
The only thing missing is camera changes during certain parts of the stages, makes it more cinematic

I heard they recently did performance updates, so in theory it should run better on ps4 than ever before.

I am not sure tbh, I'd start with removing all mods besides the upscale textures. Then add 1 mod at a time. Hard to figure it out any other way
