I'm getting Chris fix vibes
I've been getting that comparison. It's just Chris is one of the few automotive guys who has good production!
It's the typical youtube voice

I came from his video....
I'm not mechanically skilled at all...but these videos are hella addictive

Appreciate it guys!!
I agree. This was very educational. You’re a talented individual because not just anybody can tear down and put back together all these road worthy machines. I would also add the labor ($40-60/hr for a skilled mechanic; $60 for more complex stuff like Beamers, Benz’s etc.) & deal scouting time & online adds+ actual physical in person sales ($20-40/hr for a full-time business marketer) to the total as time is money so maybe $6-900 total in labor costs in the deal.
@@cgiles9086 I think mechanics charge about $100 - $150 an hour these days. $40 - $60 is 2000s pricing
I own a 06’ trailblazer and you just helped me figure out what’s wrong with my idle 🤣 preciate it man
Hahahah no issue. More great content to come!!
That's a golden buy though. Those don't come around everyday on the marketplace trust me

@@airsoftarmor I really think it has to do with where you live. I've read every comment on this video and it seems like it's from one extreme to another.

Hey man, you don’t need any license or anything to flip cars like that do you?
Really well done. It’s rare you’ll find anyone documenting the flip process from A-Z and taking the time to explain your thought process. I like how you broke down the repairs in other videos too. Making content for the DIY as well as overall process. Well done and you’ve got a new subscriber.
I appreciate that! stay tuned for more!
LOVE LOVE LOVE how detailed this video is, as well as the links on how to fix the specific problem with the car. Very organized and appreciated. You got yourself a new subscriber.
Absoultely love this kind of content! Finally a great flipping channel that doesn't half-ass things & is willing to show the entire process. Definitely subscribing & activating notifications, keep on doing your thing brother!
Glad to hear man. More to come! Appreciate the love
Thank you for posting videos about Car Flipping. I actually heard a bit about that with research into restorations with looking into detailing. And I have to say, thoroughly impressed with the business and might be looking into that myself. Your videos are super helpful and I appreciate the time and effort you take into producing these videos. Thanks again!!!
Appreciate the kind words my friend there will be more to come
I can't believe how watchable these are. You give so much information and you are not annoying to listen to at all. I live in Washington state and I read the car flipping tax laws. They are pretty cumbersome here.
One of my quickest flips i bought a non running van for 400$ and it turned out to be the ignition switch, it was 12$ I had to lower the steering column and I sold it for 2,200$ a week later!
Love this video! Honestly I think the most valuable thing you have here is your ability to diagnose car problems. Seeing a checklist of items to find the cause of a specific problem and knowing how the different systems work and how they can cause issues, are absolute gold nuggets. If you made more videos on how to fix car issues like you did with the rough idle in this video, I’d watch every single one of them and be subbed forever.
That's very true boss!! I appreciate that feed back. Another channel to check out for you would be south main auto. He does alot of troubleshooting stuff!! I think you'd like it!

I’m looking to invest some money into flipping cars and after watching these two videos I’ve learned a lot! Thank you 🙏🏽
There is a third video!! Be sure to check it out!

Wow!!! Amazing purchase & repairs. You are definitely a pro. Great job. I am memorizing how you negotiate price. Thanyou very much.
Brake booster is kind of a mid level repair, and the ac repair takes some knowledge. These repairs at a shop would have been expensive! seller got a good deal as did the buyer. Great vid!
Thank you sir!!!! Ohh man the brake booster on this blazer was the hardest booster I've ever done hahha.
That was great, you made this girl feel like an expert in 1 video!!! Will be binge watching the others! I love being knowledgeable about how to fix minor things on a car, so I don’t get taken advantage of.
Great pragmatic approach, youtube knew I was working on 5 or 6 cars in the last month or two as favors for people, and suggested you. It's trying to tell me something, thanks Buddy, I am buying my first flip in 1 month from now
This video is really helpful man, loved that you showed every step, and most importantly loved that you showed when the things on your list didn’t turn out to work so you moved on to the next. I’m 17 trying to get myself ready for the future, getting ideas of quick and easy cash. Loved the video man👍🏽
Glad you like it brother. Stay tuned to the channel and you learn a bunch!!
This profit he's getting is neither easy nor quick cash. This guy is a seasoned car mechanic and he would make much more money if he just worked at a regular workshop. He's into this car flipping business only for the freedom he gets from working on his own I guess.
Great job Buddy. I really appreciate the hustle !!!
As a consultant I sell my time. Time is the most valuable thing you have. You can always make more money per hour, and obtain assets, you can not create more time.
I used to flip motorcycles, then cars, now houses and businesses.
It would be interesting for CZcamsrs like you to keep a time log so that he can equate a hourly rate. This is what is more important that proceeds from the sale. Clearing "2.2k" and mean $20 an hour of $200 an hour.
I think you will find that certain types of issues with car flips are more profitable than others. This will also you to sub out less profitable tasks and allow you to scale.
This was a dope video, use to watch alot of diy vids when I had my 96 camry, something therapeutic about trouble shooting and actually figuring out the problem and everything working at the end, luv it!
Loved the video. Educational, engaging, well edited; you can tell a lot of effort went into it. Keep up the great work Buddy.
A whole lot of effort for sure!! Days! Glad you can appreciate the finished result!
This is the first video of yours that I have seen. 15 minutes later im subbed. Such good info and organized and layed out in an efficient manner. Awesome content, thanks
Awesome to hear! Check out the other flip videos!
Bro, I find your videos satisfying! Getting old things fixed is good!
Hell yeah! Get that Bread! Glad I found yo Video! I just recently bought a 2009 impala SS and she doesn't crank, start or nothing. She has power though.
I sprayed starter fluid in the intake and she started back firing. Which makes me believe Fuel is not getting to the engine.
I only know so much about Cars... So I took her in to the shop. Been a week now that they had it.
Point is this type of Side hustle is Great if you know more than just knowing how to do a Oil Change, tire Change, & Tune ups

careful when cleaning MAFs there are two types that come in these earlier models: hot wire and hot film. You can only use MAF cleaner on the hot wire type sensor. If you try to clean the hot film type the cleaner can completely sever it with the pressure.
Good tip. Honestly I didn't know that
So how would you clean the hot film type? Just replace it completely??

Thank you my man!! I have other car flips videos on the channel if you haven't seen then already!
appreciate you making this video, very well made and very informative, thumbs up no cap
Thank you for inspiration video. I have tried to also flip cars here in Estonia that's located in Eastern Europe and experience has been completely different comparing to American car flippers.
Estonia is located in Europe and is ex-occupied Soviet territory. Since regaining independence from 1991 economy has boosted, but is nowhere enough compared to real west countries. This means buying power is low on people and everyone is always trying to get the best deal.
There are variety of cars in Estonia, but more are German brands: Audi, BMW, Mercedes, VW, Opel, Skoda etc.
Weather conditions in Estonia is not great: humidity is high and average temperature is low: summers are short and full of rain (no point owning a convertible) and winters are full of dark, rainy days and occasional snow. If there is snowy season a lot of road salt is put on roads so a yearly dose of road salt is guaranteed. This means cars bodies don't last long in Estonia: within few years a good condition import can become a rust bucket.
Because of these weather constraints long-driven Estonian cars are not desired in local market, because these are usually too much rusted to be economically worth anything.
Most decent cars are imports from Germany, Lithuania (where these are cheaply and shadily imported from other poorer countries) ans Sweden. Mostly odometers are changed while importing to Estonia and old history is kept hidden. It is rare to see full service history on a car here in Estonia, because quite many can be old stolen imports from other countries with missing or counterfeit documents.
So how to flip cars here?
Most cars on sale are rust-buckets or starting to rust badly within upcoming months. Fresh imports ( not rusty yet) can have more than 400K mileage, but advertised as "120K well kept driver" and is really hard to prove them right.
It is possible to get a good deal on some older used car below market place, but selling it for a profit is really hard at the market place, because most people don't buy cars at market price: market is flooded with car-flippers that are constantly bombarding buyers lowballing the hell out of everyone until honest sellers are starting to make discounts.
Most cars sellers are aware of market prices and how much they can get for this car when taken apart and sold as spares. Most older luxury cars here might look initially as a good deal, but are really worn poorly maintained rust-buckets. If you can find diamond in a shackle it can be a good purchase, but since most people don't have buying power to pay fair price it is almost nightmare to sell a car here for profit.
Yeah man some areas are better than others. Even here in florida the price difference where I'm at and in miami is so much different.

Keep these car flipping videos up they’re dope!
I flipped cars for car lots in Florida and did it for around 20 years. I had 3 car dealers who wanted to back me for a dealers license but it was cheaper at the time to just go with them to auctions and pick cars for them . I would get 25 dollar cars and turn them in to 900 to 2000 dollar cars for the lots and we all made lots of money . I could guarantee all the cars I did to have a 2 year warranty because I put in good new parts and not junk yard crap the car lots loved me because I did a good job and was fast . at the time in Florida you could have a lot and sell up to 7 cars at a time without a license and I had a huge back yard. it was all good tell I blew out my back and became totally disabled in 1999 . I did the car flipping gig from 1979 to 99 tell I totally F'ed myself lucky for me it was on the job and I got SSI

Not true at all. For a car with no ac, and runs like crap it's not worth more than 500.
Yeap he had to fix a lot of things i sureley don't want to be a boiling pot inside a car with no ac on or stop in the middle of the road when a light is green and the truck won't move or annoying sound everytime im driving. What matters is whats inside the truck.
@@pol-ek3yq 100% if brandon there thinks this thing was worth more than 500 he will go bankrupt in this buisness
@@BuddysDIY yessir the profit you made was impressive its called business like you said if people like it they will buy it for what price they think is fair and 3k for it is defenetly a good price all they have to do is take care of it and it will last awhile.
I had 94 Lincoln town car. I bought for $700, planning to repaint it and sell for $1500. However, 1⃣I lost all the keys for that car, 2⃣My landlord didn't like broken car on her driveway, 3⃣I had to fix the control arm. For those reasons, I decided to sell the car for $300. Local "buy junk car" guy came to the house, and towed away in only 3hrs after the post.
I hate lowballers so I usually just ignore those people who just text me a number like "200". But, even the person like me, sell the car dirt cheap when its a right timing.
I would buy a car from you just because you are thorough and I knew I could trust you. Good work 👍

Would you consider including an hours invested section along with the dollars calculated?
I am super curious to see how the hours of buying the vehicle, getting parts, fixing and selling all come together. What do you end up making hourly after flipping?
I’m sure it varies due to every car and part circumstances so that’s hard to calculate especially with online parts vs in store or engine problems vs maintenance
@@daquanwebb7343 really have to just keep it deal per deal, car per car, cant quantify hourly things when you will be making basically a commission of each car--BUT you cans still do an hourly rate but id rather just say ok 500 total for a blazer that i sold it--after cleaned up/etc. my profit was 2500 cash--then you can deduct ALL your cost--then whats left get a general idea of how much you made per hours invested....
