Where can I buy a check seat removal tool. Can I use the back of a crescent wrench?

There's a few places online. Like backflowsupplyusa and testguage. You can try a crescent wrench but sometimes they are in there really tight and you end up braking the little nubs off. Then it's time to carefully chisel it out

First check the #1 check (the top one) for debris or worn out rubber. also check the check seat is tight. Then check the relief valve and see if something is in there. Hope this helps

Why did you switch to a Wilkins 375?

Ease and affordability. We have to remove them in our area every year due to weather and freezing. So it's quicker and if any issues a lot easier to rebuild or just swap out the vessel for a lot cheaper

Here in Florida we have them on house water supply, no irrigation, currently going through certification procedures. Local plumber, BABES come out and never repairs anything, always says the unit must be replaced, crooks.

Unfortunately a lot of testers are lazy like that and don't want to try and fix them. It also depends on age if it's close to or over 15 years they don't always repair well and it's easier to replace it.
