Lots of people are getting a Canon 4000D and then asking me how to use it for photography so that’s what we are talking about today (: Hopefully those of you that asked for a comprehensive guide will be able to try out some of the ideas we discuss in this video today (:
thanks for this review! Ive been hunting for a new camera. I'm a rather intermediate photographer/ videographer - you can see what I've been up to here on my CZcams channel as well as searching 'RedCatHabitat' on Instagram. I've currently got a old Olympus sp-565uz and a canon vixia hf800. Odd combo right? the Olympus was a hand me down and the canon was an upgrade from my phone for video. I'd like to replace them with something I can use for both purposes. I came across the 4000D while looking for a budget friendly ( ~
@joshfern9178 I did the same ...incase I get lost again ...this tutorial is very helpful and I've learned so much about cameras ...I'm might not even have to study photography 😆😆😆
I'm assuming this doesn't do video. can you recommend one that does with the same kind of quality as this, I have £200 or so to spend which is what this camera is worth now 2nd hand
Thank you! I'm a photography student, and you explained things that have not been explained in my classes, and clarified things that were confusing in my classes! Great video! Thanks again!
I'm so glad I googled how to take zoomed in images on the canon eos 4000d to come across this video. This video has explained a lot about my camera so that deserves a subscribe
Thank you so much for this sir. This is my first camera and I was just starting to learn photography 😊😊 It was such a big help for me knowing the different setting of my camera and it's capability
My girlfriend got me one of these because I've always wanted to get into photography but I've always been limited to phone cameras by finances. Thank you for the walk through I appreciate your knowledge
This was great for general camera tips. I bought the 4000 but then moved on to the 250D. The explanation of light will help my decision making regardless of the camera I'm using. Thanks 👍🏾
Thank you, thank you and once again thank you! Just received my camera and going to unpack it soon, will come back to this video while testing it :) I can see your little daughter also likes to help you with making your videos 😊
Great stuff my dude. I need this kind of vid as a reminder of stuff I’ve forgotten! Heh, got my first camera 50 yrs ago. Fully manual Yashica FX3. Since then on and off with a camera now and then. Now I’m 68 and just got a used one of these. It’s gonna be fun! I love RAW!!! 🦁

Brilliant video ! And it's incredible how much you can achieve with such a basic DSLR. In true terms it really isn't "basic" it's just modern technology in an affordable package I guess. Great video bro. I tend to find if you underexpose you can generally use editing in post to help brighten the image with other slight adjustments without affecting the quality too much. However, when an image is overexposed it's a lot harder.
Thanks my brotha 👌 totally agree - underexposed always better - just got to remember to add that light back in 😄😅 something I’m guilty of not always doing 😅😅

Okay, got to know that i absolutely suck at Photography. I just dont understand what the settings do. I understand ISO, but i dont understand how to use everything together. I got the EOS4KD too, i was able to get really good shots of the Moon in Manual Mode. But anything in daylight, i cant photograph. But at least, im now know if i understand a camera, i can get great shots even with my eos4kd
BEST TUTORIAL EVER. Thank you so much for making it so understandable. My 4000D is OLD...but my lens is good and now I need to buy two more batteries (been a while since I've used it), but now I have a new reason to learn more. I can't afford to buy a new one, but learning why I just did, will help me take much better photos. Again thank you. If you have a minute, I must send my INTERIOR photos to Sotheby's in 1800x1200 pixels no bigger than 5 mg. Can you tell me how I would set that on this camera? Cheers my friend, Linda

Hello, subscribed! Do you have any recommendation of settings for landscapes such as coastal or beaches? Cities? Also, night or evening pictures? Such as sunset or the moon? Thank you sooooo much! Great video tutorial!
Hey 👋 The others are jpegs and they already have effects baked in depending on the picture style you choose (standard, neutral etc..) many people just shoot jpeg as they are happy with the look from the camera - also these settings use a lot less memory - so you can take more photos on your SD card before the memory runs out. My suggestion play around with the picture settings and see if you like them. But RAW is the way to go if you want the freedom and flexibility to edit later 🙏🙏🙏
