  • It's been eight years since Isela's bimaxillary surgery at the hands of Prof. Hernandez Alfaro.
Looking back, Isela tells us her reasons for having the operation and how, despite a difficult recovery, she would do it again without hesitation.

Should not have moved lower jaw forward, it has created too long a jaw . Ideal would have been to move top jaw only forward

No I don’t think so. Moving her lower jaw forward made her look better in my opinion. I think she just has a bad ramus and somewhat high gonial angle hence the “long” jaw.

@@Mogged-bo7ye you can see this mistake being made in many of their class III cases in the playlist they all endup with longer jaws and a maxillary advancement greater than what is necessary

@@Batsinthebelltower still looks good. If you’re concerned about your jaws being too forwardly grow, just chin tuck, easy fix. If you feel your jaws are too forwardly grown for the rest of your face post surgery, just get implants.

Yeah i agree. How can he state that she had mandibular hyperplasia, and then make it even bigger? Doesn't make any sense

Was there a rhinoplasty in this case, or is the result just because of the jaw repositioning?
