To me one of the best releases of 2017, The best Mancera in my colloection, on my skin turns kinda leathery which its surprising because on paper doesnt smelled leather. I own 3 Manceras, Cedrat Boise, Kumkat Wood which by the way its definitely as good as Ormonde Jayne Man believe it or not, When I met Carlos in August I wore this, He was very impressed how this beauty was making an statement coming from my skin. Great to see both of you doing another collaboration on this exquisite house. I’ve always loved the presentation and names of these fragrances. The combo of both are like a magnetic attraction. This sample just came in today. My nose gets fresh meets dark and spicy.. with a touch of sweetness. I would compare the "freshness" to that of Prada Carbon and I'd have to agree with Carlos on the Spicebomb comparison.. Carbon meets spicebomb and it really is something special.. definitely on my list of "to get" fragrances after the Holidays. 10/10 for me.

I agree with Carlos on this one. I despise the sweeter scents Steven mentioned but I love Black gold - I honestly don’t get the comparison - i wouldn’t think of black gold at all if I had to come up with 50 sweet fragrances. And yeah it’s definitely a lot more suede than leather. Blind bought and adore it!
Maybe it's the amber and the cinnamon that put me in that mindset!
I'm entering by saying my fav sweet fragrance is Amen by Mugler. It has that gourmand sweetness that is amazing! Just a pure classic that will always be in my collection. Keep up the great work guys!

Black gold is great! I don’t understand why they say it’s only for men. I’m a woman and easily wear this. It’s not too masculine. Maybe the opening for like literally two minutes then it’s gone. It’s leathery, somewhat powdery maybe from the lavender but I really like it
I don’t have a wide collection, but my favorite gourmand fragrance when I’m out and about is Dior Feve Delicieuse. My date close encounter gourmand scent would definitely be Coco Blanc by The House of Matriarch. My favorite gourmand fragrance for lounging around in the house is Rochas Man. Great collaboration as always!

Hello you guys, great video. I've watched several of your videos and now own about 90 bottles of colognes. Yes I'm a frag head. I love the Mancera fragrances, but my favorite sweet fragrance is Montale Soleil capri ,Mancera black Gold and Mancera Sicily.

I own a bottle of this fragrance and I like it. It is spicy, sweet with violet, and hints of oud and rose. This is unique and smells beautiful. It is unique but a fragrance that will be universally liked by those around you.

just got this one about a month ago and its a close second behind Aoud Vanille for my fav Mancera. More of a fall/winter for me although I would def wear it on summer nights but this has beast mode projection and longevity on my skin. Thanks for the review fellas

While not traditionally sweet, PdM Layton would be my favourite. Just enough sweetness in the opening and dry down to balance the spice.

To my nose Polo Red Intense is sweet and I really like it. Montale and Mancera are the two Niche brands that REALLY grab my attention. With so many perfumes it would be hard to pick one for a first time buy of either house, so this is a frag I'd love to try. Great review as always.

Great video guys. I have been wearing this fragrance (as well as Red Tobacco) over the holiday break (I prefer Black Gold at this point) and I do agree with Carlos - this isn't as 'sweet' as other fragrances out there. It's more spicy to my nose, with some sweet elements. I will say this (with all Manceras and definitely Montales) - less is more. This stuff is STRONG...like go 1-2 sprays max of this stuff!
The disappointment in Carlos face when Steven says "again it doesn't smell like spice bomb" LOL. Yes I get that I totally agree....Sike! not even close! lol
Love this... saw J Copeland review and blind bought. So happy with it. Lasts 8-10 hers on me. My favorite Mancera of all.

Sweet vid, this one sounds like a goodie! So many contests and giveaways lately lol favorite sweet fragrance is a toss up, but I'll go with Rochas Man for now. Ladies love that juice and it has the most beautiful alluring opening that's straight up WOW.
I love this one. I do smell some similarity to Spice bomb, but it also reminds me of Beloved man.
I just bought it from Europe Notino for €60 for 120ml, they are having a sale, only 5 bottles left!

I then decided to get one. I was disappointed. It's a lovely scent but not as strong as I would have wished. Bottom line, I should have listened to your review first. If you love them strong, black gold ain't for you.

Nice review of maybe one of the most beautiful smelling mancera in the entire line imo , and velvet vanilla is a good one too.
Love this scent. I tried it first in Rome, was somewhat tipsy and upon unscrewing the lid the atomiser came off with the lid, dropped it, spilled the juice from the bottle all over the camera around my neck. This stuff STUCK to it for like 2 weeks, it was amazing. It worked in the heat of Rome, for me anyway. Ive not picked up a bottle yet but can't wait to get my hands on a bottle soon! Great review :)

I like Parfums de Marley Pegasus, the creamy vanilla/almond is the perfect sweetness. I also like YSL L'homme Intense on the designer side.
I'd like to try this . But recently I fell in love with mancera Velvet vanilla and mancera Aoud lemon mint. I really want to get mancera wild cherry next along with approx 5 more mancera versions lol
Been on the fence about blind buying this for weeks now but the sane part of me keeps saying no. Test test test before committing for a full bottle. Hope to win a sample of this even though I’m not a big fan of sweet fragrances. Probably one that I own is Chocolate Man by Dame Perfumery.

also, my favorite sweet Fragrance is Myrrh & Tonka by the house of Jo Malone. it's not Overtly sweet not cloying. The whisper of sweetness from the Tonka bean really helps the Myrrh to shine BEAUTIFULLY in this scent!😊

NIce review.At the moment mi favorite sweet fragrance is a mix I call La Nuit Du Caramel,I put the Golden Sand oil by Al Rehab and layer it with something similar to La Nuit de L'homme by YSL(I learn that from Babbs Collection) ,really nice mix and I think when you use oil perfume as base and you layer it with an alcohol base fragance you get a diferent texture and smeel diferent from diferent distances...
I've tried mixing all togheter as one alcohol perfume,altough it's nice ,it's not the same.

Black Gold smells feminine at drydown. I have a decant bottle. To me, better red tobacco. I have full bottle. Both and black orchid parfum last 8 hours+.
