From his statements what am getting from it that, for instance sometimes someone can say that even the sacrifice of Jesus cannot do what your obedience should do for you

The redemption God wrought for us it's not partial redemption but total redemption. it's a whole package
Bishop has a point but he didn’t word his statements well. The sacrifice of Jesus has dealt with all curses, witchcraft and demonic powers. But we have to base on the finished works of Christ and engage in spiritual warfare to enforce this dominion Jesus has given unto us. Jesus said in Luke 10:19 “behold I give unto you power to trample over serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy”. Jesus gave us the power but our only role is to trample on the power of darkness.
Also I believe the sacrifice Bishop meant was not limited to money. He quoted Romans 12 which talks about our holiness and purity. The sacrifice of prayer and fasting, holiness, study of scripture, faith and all spiritual activities on the basis of the finished works of Christ grants our total deliverance.
You are one of those who defend these men of God that have cause havoc in Christianity. The man is in error instead of being truthful to the word and open the eyes/understanding of the next generation, you are defending.
I always tell dome folks; some Christians will defend their spiritual fathers than the Word of God

@Prince the work of Christ is COMPLETE. You and I only affirm it by our confession (not confession of sins ooo). If you're a "Christian" and witchcraft is worrying you then you don't know who you are in Christ, case close. The "Bishop" is in ERROR. Romans 12:1 ends with "....this is your true and proper worship.", which has nothing to do with witchcraft and demons etc. You can delve deeper into the verse.
One quality of a good preacher is to make your point clear without any ambiguity. I believe that if what you posted is the point the preacher wanted to make then he should have come clear on that so we can understand his point. As it stands what you posted and what he said are parallel.

This shows that the Bible is true. If it was wrong then all these things could not happen. God warned us through His prophets that in the last days deception will increase and will be promoted by preachers who are supposed to preach the Gospel. The Bible is the Greatest live book ever printed. Be careful around it because it can either help you get closer to God or make you get far away from God if we disrespect it but
play with it.
The Bible can NEVER make you get away (far) from God. Let's not mix things up. Your disobedience does that, not the Bible.

Dr. Otabil would have to invite Bishop Tackie over and reorient him with the simple message of the gospel of Jesus Christ. The gospel is so simple that if you try to be too complicated, you will end up in error. Christ made salvation so simple, even though it cost Him everything!!!

Never listened to Tackie Yarboi but what I have just heard is jaw dropping. His teaching flies against the very fundamentals of our faith. Basically saying the once for all sacrifice of our Lord Jesus isn't sufficient. That it is limited by time. My goodness! We submit ourselves to leaders who clearly are limited in their knowledge of Christ
Demonstrate your faith in GOD by Pastor Chris is a message everyone should listen to . THE answer to this debate is there.

It's very sad to see today's Christians who love sacrifices than obedience when the Bible clearly says, "To Obey Is Better Than Sacrifice"....and that the finished works of Christ is all a believer needs to be saved unto salvation.

Tackie Yaa-Boi teaching outlandish anti-biblical things didn’t start today. He just goes unnoticed because no one seems to be watching him and yet he has one of the largest religious denominations in this country.. I once listened to him on Sweet Melodies and my jaw-dropped, “how this person got to be Bishop when even the criteria for Elder is that they be an apt teacher.” It was heresy on heresy that guts at the very foundational tenets of the Faith and yet it was being applauded as rhema.
How do you conclude this..? Let's be careful or judgement!
I'm a member of vbci. I always get angry when Bishop preaches. it's sad. The only things he teaches are tithes, sacrifices and altars. I always get dumbfounded by what he teaches. Honestly, it saddens my heart. It's like he's so empty. He doesn't preach the Gospel. Only literal translations.

OH my goodness, the very reason theologians must study scriptures in the Greek and Hebrew, take time to do proper contextual search and exergit with precession. How can we belittle the WORK of Christ like that ...oh my my...... I pray Grace and deep understanding to ministers of the Gospel.
I agree completely. This is why the Word should be preached by just reading it. It is complete and does not need crazy elaboration.
They need to rather depend on the Holy Ghost for understanding because one can read both Aramaic, Greek and Hebrew and still miss it. We have neglected the Ministry of the Holy Spirit. Our understanding of God’s Word is totally and completely dependent on the Spirit of God! Anything but this brings complete error! LORD help us!

When you hear someone talking like the first pastor he is a new age preacher runaway from him.
The horrible death of JESUS CHRIST on the cross must warn us that we need to repent our sins before we die. After death there is no chance for repentance. See that Jesus's death on the cross was no joke, but something serious beyond our earthly understanding is awaiting us. So people don't take chances and don't let the world fool us, shortly we will leave it and will be forgotten. When we we visit grave yards, we must remember that those buried had their chance while they were alive. Today we are alive, tomorrow we will die, so GOD loves us and let us repent and humble before Him before it is too late to repent.
Hi guys, let's support Pastor Gideon's ministry in any way we can. The least we can do is to pray for him so that he may be preserved and be found faithful as a servant of Christ. It's not easy to create content exposing the 'wrong' things about a man of God who has spent decades in ministry. I believe his intent in doing this is not to derail him or destroy his ministry but to somehow bring to attention the errors of what he teaches so he may repent of it or for us to open our discerning eyes and compare what he is saying to the scriptures. It seems a lot of the comments condemns the Bishop. It I think we have to understand what he is saying based on context. Beings a believer is the ultimate Goal. Helping the Kingdom grow by the role you play makes you unique in the eyes of God. You can be a preacher, A giver, a singer plays a major role. That’s the altar he talks about. Don’t just go to church and think in the long run you all are the same in Gods eye. Raise an altar to help your Family by Giving. 🙏🏽
Sacrifice of Jesus is enough to remove curses provided the believer continues in Christ by genuine Confession, Obidience, Prayers & fasting, Fellowship, Fruits of the spirit.

You are free from them and you will be manipulated by their gods.
The Bible said it is finished! Some pastors nowadays are selling the Gospel of Christ as though it's our own works. We can not bribe our way out of everything, especially when it comes to God. God is merciful and, therefore, does things for us according to His will.
Although works do matter with faith, we don't have to pay for deliverance. If that were to be the case, then Jesus's death on the cross was indeed in vain.
Jesus has redeemed us from the curse of the law.
Our giving and sacrifice also has it place in the kingdom

Hmmm, it's very unfortunate and sad, majority of people in the church will go to hell. If we don't study our Bible well and pray for understanding from the Holy spirit we find ourselves comfortable in hell if we continue to swallow everything our head men of God says. But regarding the second video of him talking about the terms 'Salvation, God, and the Divine Counsel', I would say that there is more to that discussion because there is a well-established theology on that subject; it all started with the late Bible scholar Michael Heiser. Who is a well-informed scholar. One of his books is The Unseen Realms.

Yes, I've left a comment on that too. It's a complex issue that I don't think Bishop Yarboi should be tackling if he hasn't first laid down the necessary groundwork for it. But seeing as he is butchering very basic gospel principles of the sake of firstfruits, I'm not even sure if he understood it well to be even talking about sth like the divine council worldview.

I think the devil's plan nowadays is deceitfully operating and masterminding the thoughts of some preachers who have doubts about portions of the written word of God (Scripture), so, as to make the Word of God which they had believed of none effect, even though they know for sure it is infallible and the ultimate standard. I pray the LORD helps His Church to continue in His Word till the end, in JESUS MIGHTY NAME, AMEN!

Dear Pastor Gideon, i have a question for you... we have been rescued from the dominion of darkness, yes, does it mean we just fold our arms and wait for the second coming of Christ?? Do we do nothing else after the finished work of Christ? Because i remember reading that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through Christ... Weapons, Warfare... also, aren't we told to put on the whole Armor of God? What do we need weapons and armors for if everything is done? Yes, we've been rescued but it doesn't mean the enemy has given up on his quest to destroy us. He goes round seeking whom to devour, remember? Jesus has done His part by giving us all things pertaining to life and godliness, the rest is for us to do! Even after God declared the land for the Israelites, they still had to war to take it possession of it. Jesus's sacrifice won life and salvation for us, our sacrifices and daily Chrisitian walk makes sure the enemy doesn't get the chance to steal, kill or destroy it.
