I’m in my 70’s now my children and grandchildren are all grown up. I wish I could remember all the wonderful mundane moments of caring for them as they grew up. My spouse has dementia so now I am caring for him, such is the cycle of life. It seems like yesterday that I brought my first baby home from the hospital, life is so short. Enjoy every precious moment you have with your sweet baby.

I eat that every week. It’s my special treat.
My husband and I used to LOVE hiking together - I was in a horrible car wreck in '05 so I can no longer go with him ... But anyway ... He's always kept his eye open for heart rocks, I now have hundreds of them... tiny, small,medium and HUGE ... it's been fun trying to find a way to display them without them being in the way, and so far I've been able to do that ...
We have 4 kids and 9 grandkids now ... and they ALL want to know who gets the rocks when I pass...
You never know what silly little sentimental things will mean to others...

It sure is great to see you Katie. I know having a baby can be demanding. I hope you’re feeling ok. I only have one daughter and she’s 37. When I had her I suffered from post parted depression and that was really scary. Eventually it went away. I’m glad you’re slowly coming back, it just didn’t seem the same without you. A day in the current life of Katie: Baby cries,Feed baby, burp baby, change baby, watch baby, rock baby, Katie eats, Katie sleeps, Katie repeats! Lol
You forgot all the times when Katie snuggles with Ira, and takes a photo or a video. I had 5 kids, bringing a new baby home is the most fun I ever had. When the nurse handed me my first newborn, the feeling came over me, I have got to have more of these.! Such precious times !!❤️

Hi Katie. I'm a retired art teacher. I loved my jewelry classes in college. Nowadays, I may pick up some beads and fixings at a craft store BUT, it's fun to watch craftsmen actually bend and solder! Keep up the good work.🥰

You can also freeze very ripe bananas for banana bread. Remove the peel and freeze. When they thaw they are kinda runny but it bakes just fine.

I have been watching your and your mom’s channel for 3 years now. Corie introduced me to making soap! Enjoyed the glimpse into your life and hearing little Ira. God bless all of y’all! FYI drain the can peaches (save juice for something else), fill can with water and drain that. Peaches are so much better!

The thought when you were putting the items on the shelf was in a few months you are either going to put some of them away or you will find ways to keep them out of little hands. (Learned at cost and lost from experience. And still I totally Love my now Adult children.)

I had no clue about the amount of work that went into each piece of jewelry-great that you’re sharing this. Enjoy while you have eyes good enough and the patience-I would have likely thrown it as far as possible at least 10 times while watching you (and, no I don’t have a short fuse, but those details-yikes). I love this video. I've really missed you Katie. I loved the part with you and Corey together. Soon you will be able to keep baby close by and things will get easier. He will only (maybe)cry or fuss when he's hungry, needs a diaper change, wants to be held and talked to (very important) or when he's sleepy. You will learn, if you haven't already, that there is a different sound to the cry for different needs. I just realized, your Mom or Granny has probably already told you all these things. lol Little man is going to be your best buddy ever. You've got this !!! God Bless.
