I feel like the hardest thing to get them to understand is it's the opposite of what they think in this way - you have more freedom in your life once you do become saved. You gain assurance and peace . You enjoy the things you like to do even more. You gain so much more than you leave behind.
Show them the light that shines in you and outside of you. You being born again should convict them. Show love, patience and Mercy that God gave you.

I think the fact that a name can be taken from the book of life should be at least addressed by calvanists then. Because if anyone takes away from or adds to the word is taken from the book of life. So even though God knows what we will do before we do it, I agree that names may not be there until saved through Jesus alone. God bless!🌱🌾

Sir, my reading connects the first testament directly to Moses and ‘the people.’ The reason I’m so deeply interested is because I’m trying to write a paper on this. There is zero evidence of any testament in the Old Testament. We don’t find it until the author of Hebrews connects it to Moses. Even verse Hebrews 9:20 connects the first testament to Moses.
Just pretend you’re my college professor and I’m the student. Am I good on my understanding? You just mentioned that the ‘first testament’ may extend all the way back to Noah, but I think it begins with Moses as Hebrew 9 indicates.
Anyway thank you for this teaching because without it I’d still be scratching my head.

Correct. The title is what he was debunking. His one sacrifice was enough for all time
Jesus said: I am the way the truth and the life. I am he who was crucified, died , rose again, and behold I am alive FOREVER! You can be saved today. John 03:16-17
"Rapture" is not Second Coming, we go up- He does not come down until after tribulation 7 years as we return/come back down with Him
