    Man I need your help. So you see how you have that black cap/fitting in one of the holes on the fuel pressure regulator? Well, where your regular has that gold ring for your gauge, my has another hole that would fit another black cap. So my question is, what size gauge would fit on my regulator? Again, my regulator hole is the same size as the hole you screw your black cap in. I've ordered 2 different gauges, didnt fit. Asked the person I bought it from and they said a 1/4" size, but that's too big. But not to mention, my 6an lines and that black cap fits in the same spot

    Hey I noticed the fuel pressure is only 40 PSI, and on a holley sniper it's supposed to be 58-60 psi. I bet you have a lot of issues with that sniper having such low fuel pressure.

    OK.. sorry but I must be missing something.. you've got the bottom return line back to the fuel tank, right side of Regulator feed out going to the throttle body... where is your supply feed into Regulator from the fuel pump?? I mean correct me if I am wrong but that's the point of the fuel pressure regulator is it not?...going from a high pressure fuel pump, regulating fuel pressure into a carburetor,throttle body, fuel injector rail..

    • @rogjackson
      @rogjackson Před 2 lety +3

      I was wondering about that too. Also, he says at 10:55 that he's not using the regulator to regulate the fuel pressure because the Sniper unit does that in this particular instance. Then why have a regulator at all? Maybe just for the return line fitting out which goes back to tank? If that is the case, then I wonder does the Sniper regulate fuel pressure without providing it's own return line out?

    • @Diabloshell
      @Diabloshell Před rokem +2

      Same, soo confused.

    • @HoffshawsFrankenstang-ne8io
      @HoffshawsFrankenstang-ne8io Před 5 měsíci +1

      Same, I do not understand why the return line is being regulated (?). Trying to maintain back pressure?

    • @sanjim89
      @sanjim89 Před měsícem

      Did anyone ever figure this out ? I was wondering the same thing.

    • @lenloe5390
      @lenloe5390 Před měsícem

      @tgray5327 @rogjackson the pressure reg is on the return because it has a return. With no regulator, there is free flow through the return wich causes no pressure but lots of flow. So when a regulator is added, it is not regulatimg the fuel to reduce pressure as you might think, it is to add pressure. It being on the return allows you to close the valve in it a little bit, restricting flow, and adding pressure to the parts that need it. Any questions?

    i dont get it, u said the bottom hose sends gas back to the tank, while the side hose is an inlet so it accepts the fuel from the rail so that could only mean the regulator controls the pressure going back to the tank , not the pressure going to the rail

    • @emozburnes1733
      @emozburnes1733 Před 5 měsíci

      No false the inside of the regulator or different than basic dead head regulator so yes you receive fuel from side and return on bottom but opposite on dead head regulators
