i told my opinion in the previous 2 same videos... ear player isnt like the guy... i like the way wich he plays this short melody, but he isnt ear player. just he learned this. its like to tell someone to play a melody to his instrument, that he learned with the classical-familiar way, and next sing to him the rythm, and pretends that playing with ears. ear playing is not so simple.. play it rightly with the 1st time, i remember myself when i recognized that i have this beautiful thing, in the beggining many faults. it wants training like the tabs like the musical sheets etc. now its a routine for me 2012-2023 and im keep going. test him to play a bassline, music from violins, whatever instrument you want(no drums). if he can play the 1st time at least 3-4 notes right of what is he hearing then yes he is ear player! thats from me dudes!
if he can recognize the nature sounds(birds singind, leaves throwing, a door scratching, etc for example this sound matches to the note G#, if our friend can do this yes he is an ear player, and can play not only the guitar, bass keyboards whatever he wants(my 1st instrument was echord but not electric guitar), to achieve it my ears bleed a lot. its not easy im saying again even if its a gift. errors are on the schedule even you are playing with musical sheets, even by ears, even with tabs, but by training every day for years mistakes dissapeared wich is the normal of the situation. at my 1 st day i played a melody on bouzouki(greek traditional enchord instrument) i played 5 notes rightly, the next more, the next more till i achieved it correctly) metallica, iron maiden, megadeth bouzouki? the same time that i was listening from the speaker ;D everyone can play by ears others are born with it, others can grow it up, but never will reach the level of someone wich has born with that. thats all from me sorry for spamming and greetings from Greece, now only electric guitars, classical music on electric guitar? its something more than amazing
As a guitarist, music from this continent, Algeria to south africa, senegal to ethiopia, amazing me. Rythms are crazy and the way they play guitar is incredible

With respectttt the guitarits hands are in the right key and position already before, he shifts them away and then back to start riffing - that being said, it's fire none the less.
Yeah, noticed that too. He already knew it before hand. You'd think Lil Jojo deserves some real sticks and heads, seeing as they have fenders, and nice stuff. Oh well.
This gives me school of rock energy, specifically that scene where dewey is teaching all the kids to jam for the first time. Telling the girl that plays bass “remember that GGGGGG???” Rings free in my head
But they’re closer old and worn out, but not dirty. The drummer is using cut off branches of a tree for drumsticks.. impala needs two drums but those people are extremely talented naturally I have a great equipment and I’m not even 1/2 of a percent close to what they are and so pathetic! I wish I was over there to give that little boy, new drumsticks and more things that they need so you’re so talented naturally!
From musician to musician, you need to do it by ear..it will elevate you to the next level. Just listen several times and take it few notes at a time. Otherwise, you will always rely on tabs and your ear won't connect to your guitar.
As a guitarist, hearing a rhythm for the first time and playing it on the guitar without practicing with such accuracy, it's actually worth recognition. Well done mates! Love the work. ❤🎉😊
