What is brake dust?
Dark-colored buildup of friction material from the brake pads and iron from the brake rotors that can damage to the surface of the wheel.
Why does tires turn brown?
Tires turn brown because manufacturers use an additive in the rubber called antiozonant. By design, antiozonant works while driving, also protecting against dry-rot and tire-cracking caused by ozone, sunlight, acid rain, road grime.
UV rays cause the rubber compound in your tires to 'dry out'. They become hardened and brittle, forming cracks in the sidewalls and between the tread blocks. Once cracks reach the inner cords, you're at risk of a blowout.

And dont leave the solution on for so long. Usually under a min you’re supposed to wash it off. Especially on the tyres. But good demo on the inside of the wheel. I need to do that in future.

Great video!!! Yesterday my nexon tyre Bridgestone Turanza T001 had a cut on little pebbled road. The cut is of 1cm length with cannot be repaired with sticky tread kind puncture repair kit. I had to use spare tyre. The tyres has driven only 11.5k kms in 1 year. I wasn’t expecting this with new tyres from Bridgestone. What’s your opinion on Bridgestone. Currently i am following up with Bridgestone and tata service center for any kind of solution. If I had to buy a new one, which brand would you recommend?

The tyre had a cut. I couldn’t have the patience to wait for such long procedure . Today I repaired it with local puncture shop(vulcanization process). The cut was of nearly 1.5 inches. Can review on this after some more running.
Yes always use gloves with these. Strong detergent with water can still create small skin peeling on your palm.
And they can be cancerous.
I used this on my car tyres which had like 3 years of baked brake dust on the tyres.
2 rounds of spray & scrubbing the tyre wall with a new clothes brush & they were as good as they can be.
Just should have used gloves.

I have one doubt brother, I'm gonna buy new Tata Nexon Xm+ and need some things to do, but showroom people said that, if you buy and set Fogg lamp and other thing from outside, then electrical warranty will be lost, and as I have watched your all your videos, you are doing all things by yourself, so what about your car's warranty of electric circuit... please reply.. I'm buying new car and I dont want showroom to fool me
This is general practice of showroom- they don’t want customer to go outside. But you also have to be very careful while getting things done from outside like the work should be professional done without tempering the original wiring.
