Just bought a refurbished iphone 13 pm last week. Battery life is insane and the phone feels just as smooth as my friends 15 pm
Battery is beast. I still get 8+ hours sot after 2.5 years!!
I use a 14 pro, 12h avg screen time with 1 overnight charge im never getting rid of it until it dies

I’ve been using a refurbished iPhone 13 pro from Amazon for a whole day and it has been perfect so far, I actually think that’s the best iPhone to get if your budget is around 500€
I have the iPhone 15 plus and it’s by far the best iPhone I ever had, the size is great, battery life is incredible and the design is very nice

I just upgraded to a 14 from an 8 a couple of weeks ago. I can attest that this phone is solid. I have been enjoying the all day battery life, the larger 6.1” oled screen, and obviously the new iOS 17- and beyond updates.
In my opinion, the most budget-friendly option in 2024 is the iPhone 13, and the top choice would probably be the iPhone 15.
Still using my 13 regular with 256gb n after 2 years battery health is at 94 %... I love it as my daily driver

@@cyberslated9973 thank you so much... My charging habits are.... Never let it drain much n never charge it fully... Mostly charge anytime few times a day for short charges. I rarely charge to 90% n rarely go below 40 % n hardly use a case. Plus I'm in Senegal west Africa 😁

@@cyberslated9973 thx plus I’m Africa I only charge when ac is on or when the weather is cool n I charge multiple times if I like n never fully charge to 100% n rarely below 35%. I never charge for long so less battery heat ☺️

Jumped from X to 14 pro last year and honestly the biggest difference was 120 hz screen and dynamic island, but the experience between them is very similar, would never say it’s been 5 years. Next move will be jump to 18 pro.
@nickackermanchannel I am using a regular iPhone 14, and my usage is WhatsApp chats, calls, and social media apps. I don't require a better camera. Do you suggest upgrading to the iPhone 15, or should I wait for the 16? Is there any noticeable performance difference considering day-to-day usage?

Debating between 12 pro and 13. On one hand 13 has better CPU and battery, but the 12 has more RAM and it's design is just... perfect.

I have the 15 pro max and it feels exactly like the 14 pro max… Apple really didn’t change much, you can still rock ur 14pm for about 4 more years.. beast of a phone 💪🏽
I have the 13 Pro Max (Sierra Blue) and absolutely love it!! Best battery in my opinion. I won't be upgrading anytime soon. This iPhone still feels like it's worth a million dollars lol.

i loved my 13 pro max although i did upgrade to the 15 pro max the camera upgrade and weight and thinner bezels is literally the only FELT change fr if your looking to keep your 13 pro max wait it out til the 16 pro max then upgrade it would be more substantial!

i have both 13 mini and 15PM. But i use my mini more than the PM that my 15PM lasts 3-4 days between charges

I agree with everything in this video except the inclusion of the base 14 line.
Like you can save money and get 99 percent of the same phone with the 13 line or spend just a little bit more and get the base 15 which comes with so much more bang for your buck.
If you can find a decent price though, the 13 Pro Max is still stellar value for the money.
The red 13 mini would have been the perfect phone for me. Then Apple dropped it. I got a red 13 and I am happy with the purchase.

I’m gonna argue for the xr or 13 mini. The xr is gonna get iOS 18 and is very affordable today , around 170-200 bucks used, great value. The 13 mini while still not the latest is a little bit more modern while still being very affordable around 300 bucks, also great value.
Just picked a 13 pro max yesterday (from 11 pro max) I can say that the experience is amazing… Nearly perfect, battery last long, all day and boy 120Hz is something, Thanks Mr Nick

Iphone 15 pro user here, before i had the regular 13 and im not kidding, besides 120 hertz, the camera and dynamic island it feels exactly the same as my older 13. and i kinda regretted buying the 15 pro in the first place 💀

Not worth it. You notice no difference in upgrade. Only one year extra software upgrade.

It’s worth to mention that the 14 has 6 GB of RAM. iPhone 13 (non-pro) and lower have only 4 GB.
I‘m pretty sure you will notice these 2 extra Gigs of RAM in the future. iPhone XR has only 3 GB and struggles already with iOS 17 (not all devices).

I just got the 15 pro max coming from the 14pro. I said why not. I can tell a big difference between the 14 pro and 15 pro max. Just in everyday use. Glad I got the 15 pro max

the 13 pro and 13 pro max can be found on back market along with the 14 and 14 plus for about 400-500 for the 13s anmd 500+ for 14s yet the pro 13s are MUCH MUCH better then the 14 in terms of value

I prefer normal 16:9 aspect ratio displays since its true usable size... I dont like to zoom in videos and crop the top and bottom off since then im seeing less not more...

Hey, I'm looking to get a family member a phone upgrade. They have a very slow and old phone, I'm looking on amazon for smth cheap that's still getting software updates. Would you guys recommend getting a phone like the base model 13 (about $230) or a new phone of the same price?
Yes base model 13 is very good still watch the battery health though when buying a low price one you want 90 percent health and higher
Larger phone as in pro max more battery life if in you budget . Also if you keep a phone for several years updates are further out . Example security iphone 11 end in 2026 and iphone 15 in 2030 as far as i’ve seen but might be different .

15 pro max is amazing but I traded my regular 15 Pro 128gb for a 14 Pro Max 512gb just because the 15 pro is so small for my hands. Great phone though
14 pro max and 15 pro is basically the same i personally think the pro will not be playable for console games bc of the small size and so bad heat management

Must say 14 pro/max is the best. I know the 13 pro and 14 pro are basically the same phones, but you have dynamic island and a serveral years of os updates. The 15 pro isnt that great, cuz it costs still alot and i would recommend it when you rly need usb c. Otherwise the 13 pro and 14 pro are the to go phones, in my personal opinion, however i would prefer 14 pro/max to buy😊

In my opinion, the top 3 iPhones we can buy currently this 2024 are:
1. iPhone 13/Pro
2. iPhone 14 Pro/Pro Max
3. iPhone 15
Why would 13 be the top? Those phones are definitely behind all 15 models

@@nickackermanchannel You're right, those are really way behind the 15 series. But I just said that because of the "value-for-money" iPhone right now. If someone really wants to have an iPhone right now, going for a base 13 or 13 Pro would not really be much of a bad idea, despite being 2 generations older. Still think it would work in today's time, especially for most people. Then 14 Pro or Pro Max like what you said. Then, the base 15s. Just my thoughts, when considering their value and what the device can still offer today.

I guarantee you, Apple starts expending their support for at least 10 years total now that the others are doing seven. The A chips are the best in the business if Samsungs mid range phones can get five years I know for a fact iPhone 13 has a solid five left.
@@katinasoutherland7693 The least supported devices currently are that Apple will get at least 6 years of support. Yes, it is expected that it will get seven years, but it is not certain, but those that will definitely get seven years, 15 regular ones are also active, 13 Pro are also active, and even the oldest are a great possibility, and devices 15 and above are probably 8 years + The device will be supported by Apple until performance begins to decline. Support is cut off. For example, my previous device, the 7 Plus, was like a horse from System 10-14, but with the 15 update it became a turtle. + Even if you do not update it, you will be cut off from support and forced to update.

The 14 brought almost nothing over the 13 & it $100 more. Either go for your preferred choice in the 13 Series or go for the 15 Series. The 14 series is a disappointment imo

@@nickackermanchannel After my LG G4 5.5ins then I got a Iphone se 4ins,then a Sony Xperia 5 6.1ins then I got a Iphone 13 mini 5.4ins but I found it small so I got a S22 at 6.6ins.
But I still love the 4 inch form factor of the original Se.

Pro max is to big size. For the basic user se 2022 ore 12,13 mini ideal compact phone and great camera. Dont need all those special cam features on big models. 🍀👊
