Yup i have 2 pairs of black jeans and 17 band t-shirts and that's all I wear. I own maybe 20-25 pairs of jeans and probably 20 non band t-shirts but nah. Too much effort

I love your attitude! It's so refreshing, especially compared to those disgustingly excessive CZcams haul videos. I'm minimalist when it comes to buying new clothing- I don't care much about price (as long as it's within my affordability) but I make sure I check for quality over quantity. I favour simple, timeless designs over trend-led shapes and prints. I buy second-hand from thrift stores a lot too. And I love re-wearing my favourite clothes over and over again! Some tops I've had for over 5 years now! (It's all about garment maintenance)
Great work. Great video! I do relatively the same thing. It was born from living a fourth of the year on the road and hating flying. The less I carried the less of a burden my pack was, was easier to live out of and didn't make as much of a mess hotel to hotel. Now I do a lot of guiding on my spare time and help teach survival style courses. So more and more my outoor kit and day to day / travel kit are mixing. So lots of forest greens / wool layers. M2Cs. I've been a hardcore minimalist for the past 3 years now. My uniform is pretty similar. A black dress shirt, black pants, black socks. Yeah, my favorite color is black because it's pretty much neutral and can be combined with every other color.
I saw other people do videos on this. And there's this guy in my uni who wear the same thing ALL the time, white shirt and shorts. I also wanted to do it but like you thought it was unrealistic. I'm seriously considering it though.
@@nur-aima It's not that hard or unrealistic. I accidentally did it in college because I was broke as hell and extremely lazy when it comes to doing laundry. Now I'm working and have the money for lots of clothes but I'm like nah - black shirts and black pants are timeless anyways.

Really loved the random Metallica piece. I too wear the same outfit every day, I keep several sets of the same exact outfit and just wash everything once a week. Simplifies the hell out of life and as you explained, I'm always comfortable in my clothes.

Me, too. For the office I wear black trousers, black socks, black flat-heeled leather boots, black leather belt - and a different color (but basically one of just two styles) shirt every day. Same bag, same wallet, same jacket - and when it is actually cold, same mountain park. It makes it quicker to get dressed. When the items of clothing become too shabby for the office, I replace them with the same brands & styles.
I wore only black and white for about 15 years (before "uniforming" was widely-known), and I didn't know anyone else did this until after I had stopped (corporate job, then teaching job wouldn't allow me the freedom, unfortunately). Like you said, Lefie, it saves so much time. I could always match a top with a bottom within 10 seconds. But, some people gave me a hard time and tried to get me to wear color and would give me gifts in bright colors. I felt really bad when I couldn't bring myself to wear them, especially since most of these items weren't my style, anyways. So, all the power to you, Lefie, and everyone else who recognizes the bonuses of wearing a uniform.

I recently heard a woman talking about this, but her idea of a uniform had more flexibility. A uniform can be as simple as a pair of jeans and tennis shoes with a T-shirt, but each items could be different every day. I love your simple style with the minimalist background in your video. I’m mostly the same but I have 200 (yup 200) rock shirts. I wear a rock shirt, jeans and Converse every single day (a hoodie gets in there on chilly days). So I have a uniform that expresses my absolute love of music!
I wear three to four different shirts on rotation, all black. Two pairs of pants, one black, one dark navy blue. I save the color for my paintings and play around with colorful word usage in my poetry and that's enough for me. :)

I love to sew, and I have one standard top sewing pattern that I like. And I just make all my tops out of that pattern with different fabric. And they look good but also are comfy. And I wear those with blue jeans and I'm done :) It works really well for me.

Finish with a black pair of Vans, or when formal some brogues. So much time saved picking clothes and doing laundry, god bless.
Same with me, but sometimes I slightly change my favorite outfit and I have more activities to dress for. Sometimes I would love to wear other clothes, but I'm just too lazy ^^

I'm bald too but it's not by choice. I actually have alopecia. But because I always wear black clothes and combat boots, people assume I'm some sort of heavy-metal anarchist type and I shaved my head just to look more edgy LOL. It's okay tho, I really like my look now.

I finally got some good cloth and even more the just one set. But I know what she is talking about. Now I will go anywhere in whatever I like and I feel myself enough confident. I guess it is better to wear something simple before you will get to something more fancy.
I wear basically the same thing every day. I own about 20 different solid colored Hanes T-shirts that each cost about $6. A solid half of them are either white, black, or grey. The rest or various colors that I mostly just wear to work.
Comfort is key 👌🏽 I don’t dress in just black, but dark colours do make up 99% of my daily wear. People think minimalism and zero waste is expensive, but really it’s the best thing we can do for our wallets and ourselves. Simplicity gives us more freedom and time to cover the important things.
I am in a traditional mode (university professor). All my pants are shades of dark gray and my shirts are either white or grey. I wear a set of black cowboy boots. I reduce my stress because I never have to worry about what I am going to wear.
I am figuring out my "uniform" and making my wardrobe very simple for me to pick out clothes right now a white top with black jeans and beginning to really fall into place.... updates coming soon :D
For my job, I wear scrubs so the bulk of my laundry is for work and that is fantastic!!! When not at work, I have some comfy around the house clothes or if I go somewhere a couple pairs of jeans, handful of tees or sweaters, couple jackets, one peacoat, and one super puffy warm winter coat and that is all I need. For about 4 years I only wore jeans and a black tshirt and it worked amazingly for me at that time but my needs or wants have changed a little but still quite reduced and simple and wow it really frees up time, mental and physical energy, and also makes traveling a breeze
Getting dressed everyday is probably the hardest part of my day. I hate it and how it matters so much to others. Since I was 12 I wore an actual uniform till 2 years ago.

Your thoughts are same as mine. I was troubled these 24 years but not anymore. I really felt the kick after doing the things that I've wanted to do.. Currently I'm bald 😋 so I keep getting stares, weird looks, anti-beauty comments, life advises, TLC suggestions and bravery awards. Lmao
Anisha Sood heck yeah!! I did that once too. I feel like every lady should go bald at least once in their life. It’s CRAZY how different people treat you.
I went bald in January. Unfortunately my hair didn’t agree with me because it’s halfway to growing back to it’s full length😂
I'm bald too but it's not by choice. I actually have alopecia. But because I always wear black clothes and combat boots, people assume I'm some sort of heavy-metal anarchist type and I shaved my head just to look more edgy LOL. It's okay tho, I really like my look now.

I finally got some good cloth and even more the just one set. But I know what she is talking about. Now I will go anywhere in whatever I like and I feel myself enough confident. I guess it is better to wear something simple before you will get to something more fancy.

I wear basically the same thing every day. I own about 20 different solid colored Hanes T-shirts that each cost about $6. A solid half of them are either white, black, or grey. The rest or various colors that I mostly just wear to work.

Comfort is key 👌🏽 I don’t dress in just black, but dark colours do make up 99% of my daily wear. People think minimalism and zero waste is expensive, but really it’s the best thing we can do for our wallets and ourselves. Simplicity gives us more freedom and time to cover the important things.

I am in a traditional mode (university professor). All my pants are shades of dark gray and my shirts are either white or grey. I wear a set of black cowboy boots. I reduce my stress because I never have to worry about what I am going to wear.

For my job, I wear scrubs so the bulk of my laundry is for work and that is fantastic!!! When not at work, I have some comfy around the house clothes or if I go somewhere a couple pairs of jeans, handful of tees or sweaters, couple jackets, one peacoat, and one super puffy warm winter coat and that is all I need. For about 4 years I only wore jeans and a black tshirt and it worked amazingly for me at that time but my needs or wants have changed a little but still quite reduced and simple and wow it really frees up time, mental and physical energy, and also makes traveling a breeze

Getting dressed everyday is probably the hardest part of my day. I hate it and how it matters so much to others. Since I was 12 I wore an actual uniform till 2 years ago.
