In it, I talk about the ideas of lost souls, trapped souls, earthbound spirits and spirit rescue work as I often receive questions about them. I discuss why I don’t believe in these ideas and why they can be harmful. I hope it will help you understand the spirit world and why the ideas of lost spirits, trapped spirits and earthbound souls can be damaging.

Thank you so much Martin. I agree with you . When a loved one crosses over into Spirit, it is immediate. There is no lingering or being "stuck" in an "in between place" We are Home again. One with our Creator and all those in the Spirit World. Several of my loved ones came through to me on the day the passed over. They knew that I am a Medium and I am open to receiving messages from them. Sometimes our grief can block us from receiving the messages. They are sent out but our emotions can prevent us from hearing, feeling , seeing and knowing that we are being communicated with. I love all of your videos and I look forward to watching more. I agree 100%. It shocks me that there are mediums who continue to subscribe to these harmful belief systems and then recirculate fear which actually comes from the ego and not spirit. Thank you for shedding light on this!

Yes, ive heard so many people talk about trapped souls. I've even been told my Dad had been trapped by a psychic once.

Something that stands out for me is the difference between a timeless space and the Earth plane. I haven't read or heard anything to make me think that a spirit has to experience time on this side and the other in precisely the same way.

Thanks Martin, I also think we need to challenge mediums who say that we need to let spirit go! We have no control over spirit, as you have said they choose where they want to be. As if we, mere mortals have any control over the spirit world! It’s ridiculous. We can’t hold them back.

So how can anyone be « stuck » in no-time ? Maybe a spirit is happy to hang around the earth plane à bit longer for the fun 😊 or good memories. I think free-will and personal choice apply in both worlds, earthly and spirit - and are part of each of one’s evolution

Martin Twycross, I enjoy your videos but I think you are wrong on this one. I think you are taking the word "lost" to literally. For sure there are souls so caught up in the physical that they refuse to move on or they could be so stuck on unfinished business.
Edie I’m of the belief that when you pass, you are automatically in spirit so we cannot refuse to move on as there is no gap or separation. We have automatically moved on by virtue of passing. I agree that souls can draw close to the Earth as it is a choice but in my view, they are not Earthbound. Of course we can agree to disagree 👍
