  • In this video I provide a teaser to my upcoming Top 10 recommended rebinders. I show you 8 of them and I do not give you the order. Who are the other two?? Who is number one? You’ll have to wait and see. In this one I compare Floresh Bibles to the other seven in the video. Check it out!

Great comparisons. I'm glad to see that she's doing so well! I put my order in with her a couple weeks back and she's been very accommodating and gracious with my choices. Even special ordered a leather she doesn't usually stock (for a small fee). I can't wait to see my finished rebind! I know it's going to be great!

I know for sure one of the missing pieces. I have 2 or 3 guesses on the last one. 🤔 🤫🤐❤ Absolutely amazing video, Nickels! I just had to get a couple done from Lindsey. I just had to.😉

Beautiful. Looking forward to the top ten. I’d like to get an ESV study Bible rebound. It’s huge as you know. Anything different to think about when doing thick study bibles? Btw, just backed the SonRise on kickstarter 🔥🔥🔥

These are really nice, a few quick questions
    1. What is that waxy leather?
    2. Will the reminders do smaller books like a prayer book?
    3. If you had to pick the top or top 2 who would you recommend?
Always enjoy your videos, all the Bible’s I currently have I plan on rebinding if I need to.

      1. Waxy is cowhide. I’ve done a video on it showing how it works.
      2. Yes.
      3. Reformed and Rebound and ICA are my top choices.

Hey Tim! I’ve had 2 Bible rebinds by Leonard’s Books in Burrows IN. Beautiful work and great people. Check them out!

They do hardbacks I think. I’ve never worked with them.

@@anickelsworthbiblereviewsBoth my Bibles were not hardbacks, and neither were the rebinds. They use all sorts of skins, styles and colors.

Have you ever considered a video on the top 10 (or five) Bible rebinders you *haven't* worked with, but would like to? It might be an unfair topic or be viewed as an attempt to get free services, which is certainly a drawback. I, on my part, have trouble finding rebinders - especially those that don't have web sites.

    • @anickelsworthbiblereviews
      @anickelsworthbiblereviews  Před měsícem +1

That would definitely seem like a plot to get them to work with me. Plus I can only think of maybe three.

Tim, thanks for putting out great content with honest reviews.
I’m curious as to what the average or expected cost is for a rebind. Also what is an approximate turnaround time for a rebind (I understand it would vary from one to another, but give me an idea). Lastly, I do not have social media so how would I go about contacting any of these reminders?
I’m staying calm and Jesus is always on! 👍🏼

Most of them have websites. 3-4 months average wait. $300-400 for veterans, $200-300 for new ones. $400+ for speciality leathers and options.

Nice comparisons. On another subject entirely: I did my part and "pre-ordered" (i.e., became a supporter of the project on Kickstarter) of the new Humble Lamb SonRise NLT bible. We get to pick which color and options at the end of July. I'm partial to the London Red, but still dithering between that and the Forest Green. One thing I'm not sold on is the odd looking and not unobtrusive overlapping "CR" block symbol used in the outer margin at the start of the references area at the bottom of each page. It's seems unnecessary to me, and I don't know what the "CR" is supposed to stand for. I wonder why they decide to add that.
