University of Manchester students protest against war in Gaza

- On 1 May, pro-Palestine protesters set up an encampment on the University of Manchester’s Brunswick Park, with tents, banners, and flags.
Similar pro-Palestine encampments have been set up at other UK universities like Oxford, Cambridge, Liverpool, and Edinburgh in recent days as part of a growing global student movement.
Deana Hassanein Soni visited the encampment on 4 May to find out more about the student’s demands.
