Hi Antony, congrats on the progress made so far. First time commenting but have following your channel for several months now and some of your vids have been a part in helping me in starting my own brand with no previous experience in fashion design (many thanks 🙏). I'm in the final stages prior to launch so can relate to a lot of thought processes you talked through in this vid. Interestingly though, at 4:47 after the "but" my decision was to go with the manufacturer route. Keen on seeing the video around costs and margin analysis from your perspective in the UK because I imagine there is a lot more options to choose from. Here in Australia, it would an absolute nightmare to source the different components separately and have a print them because the costs would just blow out the margins prior to even accounting for returns and non-direct costs, not to mention the manual overhead. Had similar thought process as you regarding packaging, I ended up going with a mailer box in a compostable mailer bag, with all the inside stuff (tissue paper, stickers etc) being able to be put into recycling. Great work so far and I will be interested to see how it plays out for you! 😀
This is super useful, thank you for sharing your knowledge! Good luck with the brand!
Hi Antony! Wish you good luck! Thank you for video!
I hadn’t ever thought about using LinkedIn, that’s actually such a great way to use it
