Im just about to go out and buy this. Touching on the problem of inkjet drying out is the reason Im buying one. I have a HP 8610 thats entirely functional until I left it for 8 months and didnt need to print, how the heads clogged and a fucking nightmare. I'll attempt fixing it another time for photo printing but now knowing this, laser seems like the choice for me for sporadic large volume printing. Subbed.

Now if I could just figure out how to clean the printheads. It's not simple to figure out and though my toners are showing full, my browns and grays are all printing in shades of purple. My greens and blacks seem to print okay. I have tried everything I know to do but can't find a step-by-step to unclog the nozzles or clean the print heads. Please help.
This is a laser jet. No printheads on laser printers.
Do you know if I can change the settings when printing a paper to glossy? Also, can I use any paper or just laser printing paper
Go connect to the printer using the IP and set the paper type. Usually I only bother with printers that have multiple trays so that when I print on special paper that the printer knows what is what.
Hey I'm about to buy this and just wondering if you know that this printer is able to print 200gsm recycled papers?
I would read the manufacturer's specifications before buying just in case.
