The thing I always notice about Jimin is how beautiful his lines are. His leg and foot placement is absolute perfection. Also when he needs to move across the stage he’s so graceful he looks like an ice skater. He’s the perfect balance of grace and power.

This is exactly why JIMIN aside from having the prestigious title of KING OF KPOP for 2 yrs in a row, has earned the title of BEST DANCER in KPOP for 3 yrs in a row now!! Jimin also is now being called the IT Boy as well! Do any online search on Jimin and this will all pull up! Also 'Jimin Effect' is now actually in the urban dictionary as well!!

All respect to Jimin, he's incredible and I love him. But best dancer in Kpop? That's been acknowledged to be Shinee Taemin for YEARS now. Jimin, Jhope, and a select few others from various groups are all up there, and they are absolutely astonishingly good. But Teamin is for sure No.1. Jimin actually resembles him a lot, but with that extra contemporary flair. I know a lot of people throw around the term, 'the idol of idols' a lot nowadays, but the one who has consistently had that title for YEARS is Taemin. And I'm not biased, I'm a true ARMY, and have been for a long time. But there are some things you pick up whilst being in the Korean entertainment industry for a long time.

Jimin has already won last YT as well as well as also crowned best dancer by King's Choice as well for the last couple of yrs though he might win that as well again this yr! But I agree with you that Taemin, though not trained classically, excels as well! One of the reasons Taemin admires Jimin so much is because of Jimin's phenomenal background and abilities!! Kai who Taemin is also equally close friend with, has actually had some classical dance training as well in his background!! But, yo Taemin's awesome credit, he learned and trained quite hard a bit later in life emulating MJ, practicing continually nonstop!! Taemin's stage presence as well as execution of dance moves is quite undeniable, and I so agree with you just how amazing Taemin is!! This yr, at least for the annual highly regarded Dabeme poll Jimin had that record breaking way I've 1M votes and for females Liss from BP won but no where near the votes Jimin received!! Here is background info on Jimin that might help anyone understand why he's been awarded these titles, & acknowledged & praised for so much more achievements, & abilities! ❤️JIMIN, at age 11-12 started studying, performing, & competing (winning every competition), in hip hop, popping (excelled), & street dancing, while attending the renowned Just Dance Academy in Busan where he's from! He was so good that an instructor even had the high tuition fee waived at one point! This was while also attending middle school, where he loved sports, being quite athletic, joined the football team, excellent at track, great at basketball, & billiards! Jimin also, all throughout his schooling, was known as a top scholar, achieving perfect scores, especially in math & science which just always came easy to him! Jimin was even class president for 9 yrs in a row! Jimin, all throughout his schooling, was also quite good in art class, as well as calligraphy.
Jimin, then also took up contemporary dance. The media, after seeing a performance of Jimin's performing at a huge Busan Festival Event, called Jimin "The rising star of Busan"!! JIMIN also studied ballet & traditional Korean dance while attending Busan High School of the Arts. Jimin still went to Just Dance Academy to take hip hop classes whenever he could because his first love has always been hip hop, even though he was now majoring in contemporary! JIMIN even had an offer to dance overseas, but declined because he also wanted to become a singer since the 2nd grade, to the dismay of one of his dance instructors who said "The world of dance was going to lose a great artist"!!
So Jimin then went and auditioned for BigHit Entertainment, (company BTS is signed with), being the very last member to join, being a trainee for only a few months (which is unheard of for most Kpop idols), as opposed to the 2-3 yrs of being a trainee the other members had! But Jimin was so good that he was assigned the official title of one of the two Main Dancers, as well as Lead Vocalist. Jimin was even assigned most of the high notes since the very beginning, because even without all that training in the beginning, he was that good, a natural born singer who, just like his dancing makes you feel every emotion and feeling he's trying to convey!
JIMIN, also, for 8 yrs, since a quite young boy, trained in various forms (4), of martial arts: Taekwondo (Blackbelt), Hapkido, Kumdo (Korean form of Kendo), & Chinese martial arts. He even won a scholarship, the only student to do so, to study more extensively in China for awhile! All the martial arts training has given JIMIN his phenomenal inner core strength, as well as his amazing flexibility, which has enabled Jimin to achieve all those breathtakingly spectacular gravity defying dance moves! JIMIN has found a way to incorporate all his various dance disciplines, as well as his extensive training in martial arts into his unique, ever so special, outstandingly amazing dancing abilities!!
JIMIN, has been called 'Stage Commander', known for his amazing, so mesmerizing stage presence. Each dance move is executed flawlessly, his extensions all the way to the fingertips, his lines so clean, his fluidity, his poise & elegance, his ever so graceful moves, but yet, sharp, quick & deliberate when required! He focuses on every detail! Known for his work ethics and being a perfectionist to a fault, spending hours in the practice room, will study every move, even focusing on hands to fingertips. Even his facial expressions, or the look in his eyes! Every single detail he focuses on. Jimin tends to take in the music and interprets all the emotion & feelings, whatever it's trying to convey through his body movements as well as his vocals.

Jimin is the first one I noticed in BTS because of his amazing dancing skills. Sometimes he moves like a ninja, a snake and a figure ice-skater. I've been a kpop fan for 20 yrs but Ive never seen anyone who perform like him.

what's make jimin fancam enjoyable to watch is the details of the choreography that he Express in a precisely. And what makes jimin different from any other brilliant dancer is the way he make any choreography his own wich make it difficult to copy .he has his own style.
Aside from his superior grace, out-of-this world finesse, and compelling stage presence, the energy expended by Jimin when he dances is just enormous! I would be exhausted after just a minute if I do what he does. He is the epitome of performance.

this is late.. but think about it. Jimin might have martial arts background. but you're forgetting one critical info. It's not just martial arts. He studied ballet and contemporary arts, he was top of his class. That solid, elegant and flowy moves isn't just martial arts. He has the fundamentals to do any types of dance with his dance and martial arts background. he has the discipline gained from both. swift and solid, Elegant and flowy.

When you watch all the boys you can appreciate how hard their dances are. When you only focus on 1 boy you can then see all the intricacies you miss in the group. You guys are hilarious I love watching you guys lol Love how attentive you are and how much you appreciate each member and their talents. Choreography is always so intricate and looks so hard I’m always amazed at the level of energy the boys have when they do concerts and they sing and dance with so much control it’s amazing. I look forward to the day I can go to their concert again and guys I have to know how your experience is please. They really put on a damn amazing show 🙌🏻 Worth every penny.

This was a great reaction guys. Jimin truly is the stage commander! One thing you guys should watch for when watching Jimin is these little things he adds(some flair, a spin, a hand movement) thats not part of the choreo but it elevates the way the choreo/moves look! He "Jiminifies the choreo!"
