For those of us that do not post videos, but watch and learn from such generous people, I express heart felt gratitude. You have created a glorious treasure that you can go back to time and again, to enjoy all the beautiful pieces gifted to you. Simply wonderful.
A beautiful book indeed. I loved every video and your soft voice explaining all of the steps. I appreciated that you take the time to show love and respect for vintage laces and embellishments as well as using the gifts people gave you. You are a talented and gentle person, a fabulous & patient teacher. I am sincerely thankful for this series and all that you generously shared bringing much joy and encouragement to keep crafting. It's been a very enjoyable series and the premise was the special part. The book came together "seamlessly". Loved every bit and especially the slow parts, crafts from the heart are not rushed. Happy New Decade.
Hello - Just got finished watching the series. I have never, ever completed watching so long a series as this, but I want you to know that it was well worth it! I am just a beginner, and have watched several videos of yours and enjoyed them. But I did learn so many things from this array of videos. I never guessed so much work went into every page! I enjoyed listening to you figuring out things, I enjoyed listening to your birds EXCEPT for that silly dove, ha ha! Please allow me to thank you spo very much for taking the time and effort to make these videos with so much love and patience. I had no idea what you were doing at the beginning, but enjoyed how it finished. My favorite page was the one with the bling. But I would have never thought of doing most of the other parts of your pages. Lovely lovely lovely! Thank you, KL.

march 2021...l have almost completed my own "Lace Book",it's made up of family heirlooms, laces, doilies ect. nothing is older than the 1920s. To me it is priceless. l put my book together first, l found it to be quite easy to work with. l love my book. Thank you for the inspiration. 😷🇨🇦😀

Hi Jeanette, I thought long and hard not to make this a novel...., but... as you know, it’s very difficult to do. hehe. For me, this has been such an inspirational journey and I learned countless things on putting a fabric book together! Seeing all the precious pieces many times brought me to tears or formed a huge lump in my throat to say the least! These types of things really touch my heart so I can’t control it. Sometimes it took weeks for me to see different phases but I’m sure I have seen them all! Some I went back to more than once. How you brought this book together still amazes me and it’s beauty is unmatched as treasures are concerned. I loved every minute of watching each page and seeing you almost tell a story with each page. I am stepping away from you tube for now but I may return in future. Many things to accomplish this year. I will never give up crafting but need to make a serious decision on what I really choose to do because of my space issues! I will continue to watch and comment when I can. You did such a beautiful job on this book! I really enjoyed this series and I appreciate you letting all of us see how you did it. I learned so much. Sometimes I wondered how things were going to work, but you always ended up creating a beautiful page. You certainly have an artist's eye for designing! Hope you will come back and share the journal you plan to make with all the snippets and leftover bits.

Beautiful beautiful. I learned to do these beautiful books , starting with needle books from you and other ladies. I made one for a daughter and grand daughter, including inside, needle works from my mom and grandmother. Pieces of embroidery they did on doilies. I added pearls on cover and appliques from an old wedding dress. ... They were not impressed, and I'm crushed. Out of my 4 daughters, I thought they would love them. Wrong! ..It won't stop me from continuing to work on beautiful things, but was wondering if all the beautiful things you crafty ladies make, have they all been received with delight , or sometimes not so much. 😞
I think we are a special breed, those of us who appreciate the antiquity of the needlework of the past and the beauty of the old laces! I am sure that even my best friend is like "I don't get it!!??" But our differences is what makes us all unique as I am sure your girls have hobbies and likes/ dislikes that you don't understand either. Just remembered the joy that you had in making them, that is what counts!
