- The aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt is currently operating in the Pacific Ocean and from the looks of it the “Big Stick” is one of the most well-protected warships in history.

As a Marine Corps infantry man, speaking from experience it feels awesome just knowing our Navy is out there and has our back. Just seeing all the beautiful shiny new toys our boys have makes me smile. Man I absolutely love our military. 🇺🇸💪🏼
Uhhh Raa! Semper Fi, Marine!!
From a retired Sailor!
The CAG is the most powerful sea projection tool ever.
Yep. Just like they had your back on sep 11th 2001
turbotony E-4 thank you for your service
turbotony E-4 I Pray that God protects the entire US Force 🙏
My dearest granddaughter is currently an ABE aboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt. God bless her and all who serve aboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt.
Am so proud and blessed seeing the USS TR back to see. My baby boy is there. We love you and praying for all your safety and good health , Go Navy! GOD is with you all the way!
Very impressive group. I hope everyone onboard will stay healthy after their bout with the virus. Bless them all!
EXACTLY, this is a Nifty group. Except, I would like 4 submarines for the group. To have 4 positions spaced evenly, among the grouped. That would be SUPER BADASS. & I emailed that point, & hasn't happened yet. If it's my group, than,I need that requirement. If I am a sailor, this is where I want to be at,😉😊🤩🤩🤩🤘🤘💜.
@terry waller . the more, than, 1 submarine point has enough logic to believe it. Except, as technical & experienced as we are,we can manage my plan. I want that extra edge in capability and fire power.
@@thomasodonnell2187 I'm sure there are more submarines operating in a carrier strike group than are acknowledged to the public. Add to the Ohio class ballistic missile subs, Virginia and Seawolf attack boats, and I'm sue the Navy has it more than covered.
That's the problem there's more sailors in the Navy
If one catches it then the entire Navy is fucked
Theodore Roosevelt enters Pacific Ocean.
China: 😭
India:😂
I want this ship deploy in Pacific Ocean too
Angelo Wilfred Pascual it is currently deployed to the US Navy 3rd fleet, HQ San Diego, Pacific Fleet. US Navy is sending the Ronald Reagan from Yokosuka, Nimitz from Bremerton, and Theodore Roosevelt from San Diego to South China Sea
Theodore Roosevelt is on the ventilators which are made in China that can be shutdown remotely. Enjoy the short breathing
Audi RS7 TR is with the 7th Fleet
@@mteagleworld I thought that the USD Ronald Regan was sunk in 2005 by a Swedish Submarine
My son is on that ship. So proud of him and all his shipmates! Praying that God brings them all home safe and healthy soon
My daughter is too. Hooyah💙
Literally just did a deployment on the USS ABRAHAM LINCOLN was out to sea for 295 days , we just broke the record for longest deployment
Thank you for your service, Sir 🇺🇸⚓️
The Owl hell yea it was a crazy experience I don’t regret went to many countries but was the first responders to the disasters that was happening in the world
im a pilipino but i salute to u.s military.
I got a tour in 2000 when I was in Boyscouts. Pictures or video do not do it justice. I never forget and am still thankful for the experience.
US Navy. Real superpower in ocean....lots of appreciation from India.
@Matthew Aislabie 🥱🥱😑
Thank you for your service. Proud of my sailor in that warship.God bless you.
I was onboard during the shock trials. It was very impressive. I still have a photo of CVN-71 going through the shock trials on my office wall. People often wonder what that big explosion was next to the ship. The entire ship was pretty much instantly displaced by the shock of the explosion. I remember dust falling from the overhead when the blast hit. They told us all to bend our legs as we braced for the shock. Quite the experience.
Yup, me too ~ all four of the explosions. I often wonder if anyone else besides me has chronic knee and hand problems.
Me too! I was in a repair locker. I remember bracing for the first blast and it was hardly even noticeable. The next too weren't that exciting either. But the fourth (last) got all of our attention. The entire ship moved sideways instantly. Not as in slowly moved, but was pushed hard in a fraction of a second. We spend a few hours going over every inch of our repair locker looking for fire/smoke/sparks and burst pipes. Thankfully nothing was damaged in our area. We didn't know what to expect, but for each shock test us fire-fighters (I was a #2 hoseman) had the O2 canisters for our OBAs ready to activate just in case we had to fight a fire. I wasn't looking forward to that scenario for we did advanced shipboard fire-fighting training in Norfolk a couple months previously and actually used our OBAs in live training exercises. That stuff was extremely hot to breath when you're all masked up and putting out live fires inside of their mock-up ships. I was in S-7 division (ADP) during my stint onboard the Roosevelt. I may well have seen you while I was there. Man that all seems like a different lifetime for me. I was in the service before I was ever married or had kids. None of them think of my as having been in the Navy!
**Theodore Roosevelt: "speak softly and carry a big stick**
radinko radivojevic
Don’t be jealous now
You know he didn't learn that saying until long after he was president. Learned it some 10 or more years later when on safari in Africa.
Better yet, carry 12 big sticks.
@Mr Jones that will help stop global warming
Loving the US Military 💕

CHINA was like we have 2 liaoning air craft carriers.
AMERICA was like hold my 12 big sticks.
Happy memorial day.
@Conan oh yah the wasp class
China was like hold my artificial islands 👌
Why doesn't anyone ever realize that America is not a country?!
I was there for shock trials. I was actually on board the ship when the title photo was taken.
Ngiga ani ui. Thanks America in protecting small alies
I miss those days sometimes. i spent about 3 yrs onboard TR. Loved going to Vulture's Row after watch and catching flight ops in session.
Bunker hill is my sons ship ❤️ stay safe
May God bless your son. You should be proud.
Thank you for your service and God Bless
God bless people who bomb other countries?
Saw the blue Angels and Thunderbirds point Mugu last weekend it shook the ground beneath me and brought a tear to my eye. A few jets banked right above the crowd-Awesome!!!
God bless U.S.A. 🇺🇲
Magnificent!
Thank you for your service Sam Wilson, as a human. Keep up the good work.
Mabuhay U.S GOOD WORK FOR DEFENDING FREEDOM FORCES GOD BLESS
Great Ship, I am a Plankowner of the USS Theodore Roosevelt (86 to 90) Weapons Dept. Lived on it in Newport News Shipyard under that crane in the beginning. I was on board during shock trials and its first Med Cruise. Got off the ship in June 1990 right before a major deployment to the PR Op area. My EOD date was the same day of Operation Desert Shield, Aug 05, 1990. Tried to go back in but they only wanted Coreman. Just like anything, I didn't like it at the time, but miss it now.
Perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My son served aboard the Roosevelt when stationed at NAS Oceana. I actually toured it!! Talk about massive and impressive!!! Golden Eagles!!
WHAT A BEAUTIFUL AIRCRAFT CARRIER AMERICAN SAILORS CAN BE PROUD OF THIS BEAUTIFUL SHIP
It's cavalry (a tranport mode for soldiers), not calvary (where Christ was crucified). TR was in the cavalry. Get it right.
Salute to the.U.S Military...stay safe.God bless..
That's some rally nasty equipment!
What a beautiful vessel!
GL theo! Always!
THE VIDEO IS GOOD !! THANKS YOU . SALUDOS FROM : NEW YORK.
AMERICA FIRST IN ALL THE OCEANS IN THE WORLD.. BLESS AMERICA, we love you in Holland.
That is a beautiful sight
Served aboard USS JOHN F KENNEDY CV 67 in the mid 80's. She was the first carrier to be shock tested off Port Canaveral. FL.
In 1975 we took the USS American to the north Atlantic. At 93 feet from the flight deck to the water we had wave coming 30 feet+ over the bow of the ship and over a hundred feet height difference between the bow and fantail. For 3 days I never saw any escorts but new they were there I felt so sorry for them. It was beating the crew on the carrier to death. But I promise the escort ship really earn there pay. What they when thru was beyond anyone imagination.
God bless US... And thank you for protecting other countries who can't protect themselves..
Carriers are really tough. You could hit with it with a dozen anti-ship missiles and multiple torpedoes, and it would still float. There are so many compartments and redundant structural supports, most of which work in classified ways, that sinking it is almost impossible.
Awsome
Nice...
So she can launch drones to thats invigorating and inspiring
Keep the big sticks rolling! And the UK should be doing more in this direction.
At 3:32 mid image, took me awhile to find, but it's a Formidable Class guided missile frigate, of Republic of Singapore Navy, course all you experts knew that already. Can anyone tell if it's 71 or 72? The spinning antenna is Thales Herakles phased array.
These large most important strategies carriers with belonging pieces are working as independence defense powerful system's that is great USA 🇺🇸🇺🇸💪✌💪🇺🇸🇺🇸
as a proud plankowner of the TR, m glad to see she is still commanding and respected, fair winds and following seas to all her crew and god bles america.
All I can say is wow .
The wake is very visible from top view on satellite view...its a swimming duck..you could make some profile & structural modification to eliminate if not minimalize the wake and make it more faster utilizing the optimal thrust force of the torque.
The USS Roosevelt “Speaks softly and Carries a Big Stick!” Anyone who goes after a Captain for taking care of his crew and vessel like the captain did needs to have the head examined or has never served in the military and has no idea about the level of responsibility this entails!
Exactly! I am still waiting for the news of Capt. Crozier’s reinstatement.
nice...
Terrific video it brings a tear to my eye with pride and reminds me freedom is not free
USA
Cool
Hey! It's the Red Wheel guy!!! Cool!
Strike group? That's the power of a whole warfront!
Fantastic show of force - total respect for the men & women in the Navy keeping (enforcing if necessary) the peace. One concern that continually haunts me - carrier defence against Chinese ballistic missiles (DF 17. DF 21) and defence against Hypersonic anti-ship missiles (e.g. Russian Zircon anti-ship hypersonic cruise missiles). Is the Navy ready for this?
Don J flexin on em... Be safe guys!
Saw this Ship parked in the harbor off an island while on vacation. It dominated like a floating island unto itself.... even the cruise ships looked small.
🇺🇸🇺🇸PURE POWER🇺🇸🇺🇸👊👊👊
You GO! Daughter we miss you 😘 TR
bring our sailers home soon
My brother used to work on this when it was dry docked
Oh shit, They look Hungry. I will wager their diets are Bears And Dragons.
Great ship, I spent a couple years on her.
6:16 I say GOD DAMN what a rush 💪
Hey what was the last jet they launched before end?
GREAT USA
Godbless America
❤GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
Working on this ship right now
Miss you babe!!
I Truly hope the USA stays the dominat global power, the scary thing is, no one knows how all this will go against china in full combat, Much respect to the big stick.
The best aircraft carrier ever made
Usa power
👍🏻
2004-2005, there was a Sci Fi of a jet powered UAV powered by AI, remote control and shot gun with live pilots taking off from carrier ... 2020 on a you tube video as a basic causal fact. Amazing technology 🎯🏁
The usa rocks. I love our country and it's military is awesome . America rocks.
Anyone know what happens @ 5:50??? Right side of the screen???
Remembering Capt. Crozier
...i'mma design the first double decker aircraft carrier, with a lower deck for takeoff and the upper deck for landing only
this way there wouldn't be any mistakes or delayed overall operations
U.S.A U.S.A U.S.A STRONG GOD BLESS AMERICA
It's crazy how short of a runway they need to takeoff.
Protected from everything, sept that covid.
All that firepower. However the TR is missing its Capt. Brett Crozier
🇺🇸🦅🔥👍
The carrier's bodyguards should be escorted with the new Zumwalt class destroyers..but aleirgh got massive power
Zumwalts are too expensive to be a carrier strike group escort destroyer. They're designed to be an attacker, that's why they have such good stealth tech inside their design
Fun fact: did you know that a aircraft carrier never travels alone?
Go Navy!
I have two questions first, what are the deep bombs, and are they nuclear or ordinary bombs? Secondly, does the Russian Poseidon torpedo pose a threat to the US Navy
👍😀👍
Um.... it's "Cav-al-ry," not Calvary.
Really easy mistake. Imho
If it were double-decker, it could do twice as much:)
👍
Its here in the Philippines with penssalvenia submarine
Only 4.5 billion? I am surprised we don't have 100's of them..
HMS Queen Elizabeth laughs in type 45 destroyer
