I’ve never seen Wristcutters before so I have no idea of any context to this, but after watching this video I’ve already fallen in love with the characters shown with barely a line of dialogue and desperately want to watch the film. This video is edited together spectacularly Edit: Just saw it, damn. That hits hard, definitely top ten films I’ve ever seen and probably top 5 too.
It's a metaphor for depression. They're in a sort of purgatory. There's a literal black hole under the passenger seat, so anything that falls down there is lost forever. The guy with sideburns plays in a band that (within the context of the film) played this song and a number of other songs Eugene Hütz wrote for the movie. He was supposed to play Sideburns, but his obligations to his band kept him from doing it. Nick Offerman also makes a cameo.
great movie in my mind since i watched it as a young emo kid in 8th grade back in 2008. forever shaped my mind on love and relationships. love it to this day a decade later
That's exactly how I felt watching this. It just exudes emo culture. I guess I never really affiliated myself with any kind of cliche, but I suppose emo would be accurate
I watched it when I was a kid. I'd say that it had a profound effect on me and who I grew up to be, except I know that would have turned out the way I am either way. 😂
I've been to lots of shows, but gogol's have without a doubt been the most consistently entertaining. they blow the doors off of anywhere they play. if you ever have a chance to catch them I really recommend it
Cant agree more, the third time I saw them they were opening for Primus, and hands down they out performed them (And I LOOVE Primus) I think ive seen them around 7-8 times and its always amazing. The wife and I just bought tickets for their show in 2 months and its going to be the best "Back to normal" concert I could imagine.
One of the best films of this century, and it also has a terrific soundtrack (the cast is terrific). I've seen this film about 4-5 times, and I always see new things going on. Terrific.
