Absolllllllutely on apologizing to kids. I want my kids to learn that Mom makes mistakes too, and that grown ups can also apologize. It is so important to me to never talk down to kids. Also big on recognizing their acts of kindness, even though it doesn’t hit on the same level of understanding. (Like my toddler trying to give me her pacifier to “enjoy.” That item sure means a lot to her. Sharing it is so kind. ❤)

Another fun wip n chat. I'm glad Briar is feeling better. Parenting is definitely hard, and you are doing an amazing job. There is no perfect parent. I question myself every day. Skibity riz Ohio, I want to be your Sigma. Is what my 9 year old son says on a regular basis now. Haha!!! It's so weird. I don't know what a skibity is yet. But a Sigma is like an Alpha. And a gyat is a bottom. Haha!! I would love to hear some of the vacation ideas that you receive, I can't think of any. Have a great rest of the week! Can't wait for your next video!

I'm working on DAC's Buddha Deep Serenity while listening. I purchased it Jan 16, 2021. I'm going to gift it to the owner of the acupuncture clinic I used to work at.
👀 When you said "Hello" I imagined every scary movie I've seen when the woman says "Hello" before something bad happens. 😅
Did you do a lot of things as a kid? You take B to so many community activities, not even including her skating & swimming. I didn't do much with my kids and am thinking it was because my parents didn't take me to do much, either. Not making excuses, just reflecting on my parenting.

When my boy was almost 2 years old he had pneumonia and had to be admitted in the hospital. That was so scary with him being on something helping him breathe and at that time it was also still necessary to split up the covid and non-covid patients and so he had to be tested on covid and everything while he was already so sick. He doesn't really remember anything but as a parent, that stays with you... 👨‍⚕️

I am so far behind on slang myself. LOL. As far as masks go you are completly right we each should be able to make the choice to wear or not to wear and not be judged. I feel we should be able to do anything without being judged by others.

We're taking our boys to Gatlinburg in August for both their birthdays. Staying at country Cascades waterpark and resort. There's tons of kid friendly stuff and it's 20 min from Knoxville which is another big city.

I’m working on A Peaceful Celebration from Dreamer Designs. I think the picture will be beautiful. There are way too many similar symbols in this one and it is confetti rich, so it’s slow going. Glad your kiddo is doing better; it’s no fun being sick. 🩺
