Not a huge Parkway fan, but THAT, is how you command a crowd!
PWD is a great live band even if you're not that into them it's always great to check them out
Parkway drive song sound so cheesy sometimes, but they are great live especially wild eyes.
They have not once disappointed me live!
Parkway Drive are such a huge staple in the Australian Metalcore scene, couldn't be more proud fr.

Shadow Boxing is a great song by them to check out. It's not one of their big singles but still a banger. And it has a slower rap vibe during the verses.

I went to a show years ago and they were one of the openers and I was blown away because I had no idea who they were.

My favorite is THE VOID from Wacken… that’s even more LIT and turned up than this one
Parkway Drive is my favorite Australian metalcore band and amazing people too
Speaking of a accomplishment, that was the first time that a metal core band was ever asked to play the main stage at Wacken and the first time ever for PWD

Lead Guitar = Jeff Ling
Rhythm Guitar = Luke Kilpatrick
Bass Guitar = Jia O’Connor
Drums = Ben Gordon
Coupla points for you lads to consider on this one
First off, Wacken is usually more traditional "heavy metal" and parkway were the first metalcore bnd to be offered the headline slot. So many people doubted they would pull the crowds and do the festival justice.. yeah, we can see how that went. Its part of the reason Winston (the vocalist) is saying thank you so much, this was them proving the doubters wrong in the biggest possible sense
Jai being in a wheelchair isnt the first time theyve toured with a member hurt. The dudes are mad surfers and bodyboarders (check out the video for Karma if you get the chance) and yep they've toured multiple times with casts or wheelchairs.
Last thing i will say is just reiterating how good these lads are live. I saw them 20 years ago when they were playing youth centres to crowds of 50 people, and they've always had an incredibly good stage presence. Now they're about to launch a brand-new live show in September and its really damn cool to see how far theyve grown

They are a amazing band to watch live...sound awesome and a shit ton of energy🤘🤘
I got introduced to these guys by a friend of mine who moved back to Melbourne in around 05, he sent me a copy of their first EP 'Don't Close Your Eyes' and I've been hooked ever since lol seen them 3 times now...my favorite song is probably 'Levaiathen 1' from Deep Blue, but 'Karma' and 'Wreckage' are also bangers...in fact that whole album is lol
So happy to see you guys give PD some love. They are one of the OG metalcore bands. Sort of been forgotten about now but these are one of the critical early 2000s MC bands.

I had never heard these guys before (i have no idea why i didnt because i like the genre and i knew who they were) and they were one of the bands opening for Motionless in White at the Scranton Apocalypse Fest. Blew my damn mind.

Parkway Drive is one of those bands that will give you a brand new hairstyle,without anyone touching your hair before,while or after they have performed in front of you!This is one of theyr more "chaotic" songs,but such an epic intro! Yeah Jia was in a wheelchair at the time,these guys love to dabble in "extreme sports" on theyr freetime,so they tend to brake some bones in the process. You guys need to see Parkway Drive -The Void Live At Wacken,since you noticed Jia O'Connor in the wheelchair.
I cant spoil what it is,but its a heartwarming moment that many reaction channels has embraced! It is somewhat linked to Jia being in a wheelchair,i can say that much.
And The Void is my favourite song by them,its way better then Wild Eyes! Someone petnamed Winston McCall (lead vocalist) Gandalf (With the text "You shall not PASS!") after that song,it had the band retweet the photo taken of him on Twitter. The Void was the song that won me over,and i became a loyal supporter of these guys. If Wild Eyes got you pumped up,The Void will make you lose your minds

Parkway is a good Post Punk/Hardcore band(I guess what turned into Metalcore). They didn't get as big as they could have, I'd say, because they came on the tail end of a huge surge in similar bands hitting the scene and the industry became oversaturated with all these bands with similar sounds. They were one of the more overlooked bands but definitely established a fan base to still pack arenas along with whoever they were touring with. Definitely check out more by then🤌🏼🔥🤘🏼
I have never seen a list of music videos with mostly nobodies pick some better bands better music try Rush ,zeppelin Tom Petty or Queen do better.
