This is a dictatorship of two parties. It is infuriating that third or forth parties have no chance. When people refuse to vote Republican it does not mean that they will vote Democrat. It means they want more choices for parties or might as well stay home.
The American electorate is so infuriated, they might actually start electing 3rd party candidates in large numbers. Giving the rabble a say in governance is something conservative thinkers have been pushing when they say, "We're a republic, not a democracy." Meanwhile, liberal doers are making sure we do not get any democracy in the process of selecting our representatives.
@@ThatsMrPencilneck2U sounds too optimistic here, i doubt greens or libertarians are even going to get 5% i near future of elections, the only probability i see is someone like andrew yang or group of former two party politicians campaigning as third party candidate managing to take like 30% of votes from Americans dissatisfied with both parties which i doubt that will happen in 2024 unless something really really bad has to happen that sparks huge populist movement never seen before in history.
@@nmarbletoe8210 Actually, the Republicans have usually done a pretty good job of representing the rich. They're in a bit of a crisis as they have to absorb all the poor people being alienated by the Dems. Donald Trump is a terrifying figure, as he shows the Republicans a new path that is no longer antagonistic to low skill labor.
@@SpicyBxtch7 I had to vote Libertarian in 2020, because the unDemocratic Party kept the Greens off the ballet. In 2022, the Socialists had a straight party slot, but no candidates. I voted for them, which meant just a protest vote, but what can you do? At least I had a couple of stupid amendments to the state constitution to vote against.
I've started voting Libertarian. It's not that I believe in their "Free Market" economics; it's just that the Democrats don't keep them off the ballot.
@@ThatsMrPencilneck2U I don't care for libertarians, I think most are just Republicans trying to rebrand like the Koch brothers. That said, so what? That's why we have campaigns, expose them. Unfortunately, many of these candidates are receiving a lot of corporate funds

Such crap. No one reached out to me to sign. I’ve been registered as a green since at least 2016. When I registered here in 2020, it was a a Green. Now NC changed me to unaffiliated. It’s infuriating. Much has to do with media, because greens are notoriously not given airtime in red states. This has to change! I had a hard time explaining to people in Arizona what the Green Party stood for, as it was the sense there. Independents, tea party and q nuts are given airtime.. why not the greens?
I suspect DNC was the primary reason green party was denied. The green party would more than likely draw mostly voters that typically vote democrat. Heck they do everything in their power to block all progressive Dems from having much chance of winning. They backed a pro life corporate dem with massive amount of money from DNC to beat out a solid progressive candidate
So here's the real question...all of those legitimate signatures, what are YOU WILLING TO DO TO ENSURE THAT THIS CANDIDATE IS SEEN AND HEARD!! Are you all mobilizing those people ON THE GROUND AND KNOCKING DOORS to inform the public about what happened? Ensuring that they know how ineffective the two party divisive system has been? YOU KNOW THESE BASTARDS WILL FIGHT DIRTY AND YOU SHOULD ALWAYS BE PREPARED! ALWAYS!
Back in July 2022 I had issues with the Cabarrus County Board of Elections trying to deny the signatures I collected for an Independent candidate Marc White. They wouldn't accept the sheet or the email he sent me with official NC directions (so) I reported them and he had to call the Raleigh office to verify we were in the right! Turns out we were. ☺️💪🇺🇲😎 He didn't get enough votes to be on the primary ballot but that's not the point. We citizens should have a choice in the vote we cast 🗳️☑️👍
How do we help the green party get a simpler system that's more streamlined with the ability to detect discrepancies more easily. I think people really want a change.

Shocker notice how they muted Green Party lawyer after refusing to answer his question
You don't need to suppress voters, when you can control who gets on the ballet. We should start calling it the unDemocratic Party.
And the Unrepublican Party. OR the Terrible Two.

They had that mute button ready to go. He was muted before the guy even asked for it.

The Green Party does not hurt Democrats, a lot of Green voters would rather just not vote at all than have to vote for Dems or Repubs.
They don't want anyone to even hear about an alternative
