Nice take on a buyer’s guide! For teams, you left out Champions, which are absolute powerhouses together. 3 of the 4 are outstanding designs, and Miles’ only downfall is that he is overtuned a bit much.
Thank you and yeah Champions probably deserved a mention, it'll be interesting to see if they develop it further, Ms. Marvel was on her own for far too long 😀
Thank you for this guide. And here I was just buying them to collect them first then try them out. Will there be a update on “power level” of constant releases coming out?
You're very welcome, in terms of power levels I periodically do a tier list of heroes, the last one was only a few releases ago and I expect I'll get the itch to do a new one soon, watch this space.
Makes me want to start collecting.

Well I just started and I've got base game, Dr strange, war machine, vision, and green goblin scenario...it's gonna take a bit to get caught up
Yeah you've definitely got to pick and choose unless you fall in to a pile of gold but you've got some decent packs there to get you started,

I'm confused why people say not to get hulk even if the hero may not be the best they still have access to great cards you can use to build decks
Yes you're a 100% right, the hero pack itself is good value.
What about Spiderwoman
Yeah she's mentioned in the deluxe expansions section, the first hero with bespoke deckbuilding was an absolute belter.
This was great. I’m just mad that it’s already outdated. Can’t keep up with these releases!!!
Yeah what didn't help is that this took longer than I wanted to publish it but at least making reference to the X-Men releases should point people in the right direction, even as this gets more outdated hopefully at least it gives people the gist of deluxe/hero/villain packs and then synergies/team-ups/tribes etc.
@@DicevsCards Maybe consider doing an update once the Gambit + (Most likely Rouge) sets are out. Or at least a video doing the X-Men content and where they fall in all of this as a follow up.
I heard Valkyrie was a good buy to beef up Thor.
There are some Asgardian synergies but nothing that can elevate Valkyrie to be a recommend (at least in terms of power level) unfortunately.
Once people start getting serious, I'd still recommend they get Hulk and Valkyrie. Yes the CHARACTERS suck, but the aspect cards they come with are FAN-TUCKING-FASTIC. Hulk comes with Drop Kick and Beat Cop, and Valk has Hall of Heroes and some incredibly good allies, all absolutely staple deck-building cards.
I am serious and I concur with your point of view 😀 Its a valid point though Beat Cop and Drop Kick are amazing and you're right Valkyrie brings some good cards too. I've been asked to look at a buyers guide for just the non-signature cards so maybe these two will get their due that way.
I mean if you are getting serious just buy everything, no need of a buyer guide for that lol. This is for casual people who wants to get into the game. Buying a pack just for a couple of cards is not buyers friendly. And this is a buyers guide

for multiplayer is fun to have ms marvel, nova, ironheart and spiderman morales Go for champions! decks

I ummed and I ahhed and neither won out unfortunately, let me put it this way if I had have gone one more level of granular it would've got a mention 😉
I don't have iron heart, ms. Marvel, Valkyrie, nova, Thor, ham, spdr, war machine, gamora, scarlet witch, wasp, sinister motives, or galaxy's most wanted.
I have everything else. If I wanted the best cards to make decks, which 3 characters should I buy to allow me to add the best cards for fun deck setups?
Well thats definitely the topic for another video 😉 Hulk for example is a terrible hero but has some great cards. It's a bit of an expansive question but hopefully someone else can weigh in.
@@DicevsCards hulk sucking is probably the biggest let down for me. He should be about using Bruce to thwart and pushing your luck taking damage to make hulk more and more powerful. He should be able to one shot most villains with enough rage. I wonder if there's any way to house rule him into becoming fun.
@@grog3514 I know a number of people have tried to house rule Hulk (over on Board Game Geek I remember seeing a thread), as to whether any of those do the trick we can only hope.
