After 46 years in the Jw's my wife and I couldn't take any more. So we disassociated ourselves. Pointing out to the elders the very real difference between being an apostate and a heretic. They readily agreed and said "from the points you have made Derek, we can clearly see you and your wife are not apostates". We are still shunned though! And I'm pretty sure nothing was said about this point during their announcement to the congregation that we were no longer Jehovah's witnesses.
To be honest, the way the elders went about things in their dealings with us, shows their total dishonesty. I received a telephone call from them on my mobile. I could see there were three of them on this call, this was clearly a conference call. I politely asked them their reason for calling, and was told, "oh, it's just a friendly call Derek, in the hope that we can change your mind about leaving us". Clearly they could not. About three days later I received a letter from them stating something like 'after our judicial hearing, it was decided that you would be disassociated'!!!
They were deliberately trying to make it sound that they decided to disassociate us, because they had no grounds to disfellowship us. How on earth in a right minded person or persons, can a "friendly telephone call", suddenly turn into a judicial hearing? They are well aware what the elders handbook says on this subject. I wrote three letters asking them, among other things, why they felt the need to lie to me over their "friendly telephone call", when it was clearly a judicial hearing. I have had three replies, but not one of them even mentions the subject. In fact they ignore those questions.
We are so happy to be free from the weight these blind, pharasaiclal elders place on those taking up Jesus invitation at Matthew 11: 28,29,30. I would like to add Matthew 11:27 “All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him." In support of a recent post of Eric's where he say's about their air brushing of Jesus from their organisation.

Having served on many judicial committee meetings, I can tell you with a certainty that if you are called for a judicial inquiry, in all likelihood the decision has already been made to terminate your standing within the congregation. The decision has been made….. it’s just a matter of announcing it.
Yes, that is entirely possible, not in this case however. Their telephone call, 2021, during Covid restrictions, was in response to our letter of disassociation. The call duration was approximately 20 minutes. About 7 minutes of which was spent by one member asking us to consider just fading from the congregation. Adding, that way we can all still come round to see you for a cup of tea in the garden, as usual. You are a very spiritual couple and hate the thought of losing you. We had both been pioneering.

I have to comment on this from the standpoint of this particular body of elders, they did not want to loose you as friends and a brother and sister, they did not want to be forced to do the organizations bidding. I feel as sorry for them as I feel pride in your stand for whatever reasons you made it. This travesty makes otherwise good people do wicked things...
Yes I agree. I wrote to the elders 3 times asking them to explain their wording re the judicial hearing.
Their guidance is, that if a person is not disassociating in an attempt to escape a judicial hearing, then no judicial hearing is necessary.
As I and my wife had done nothing wrong, that wasn’t a consideration. Hence my puzzlement at the wording of their letter to us.
There were so many emotions, still are. We loved them so deeply, still do.
This is why I faded and did not even want to go through a Judicial hearing, the outright madness that it is, and the anger that would spew from me because of the moronic logic that elders have would absolutely drive me up a fucken wall. You people have wayyyyyy more patients than I could ever hope to have.
I’m kind of astounded toward the end of this judicial meeting the elders right out refusal to read the extra 2 verses that he’s asking them to read. They seem bent on not reading the whole context. It seems rather than read they just have already made up their minds to give a judgment.
It is at judicial meetings. Their judicial meeting is designed for the one summoned to beg for forgiveness and get in line with Watchtower teaching.

Apostasy is one of the worst offences next to immorality. They would then coerce him to attend meetings humiliating him for at least one year, meanwhile after 6 months hes allowed to write groveling letters to the elders saying why he deserved forgiveness and back into Jehovah's wonderful loving organization.. NOT.
It is like they are salivating to kick people out. They desperately need to find those who they can use as an example to the rest of the congregation.

One of the best recordings. He did a great job countering them. Aggressive without being rude. I wouldn’t have been able to be so patience. I would have called them cowards for not reading the extra scripture.

Such a policy requires a punishment of members who have been classified as unrepentant sinners. These might include, parents, siblings, grandparents, cousins, former close friends etc.
Exactly the focus of a surprise visit from the elders : "Do you believe that Jehovah has an earthy organization directed my the Governing Body of anointed men?" Answer this question wrong ... you're screwed ! My answer ..." Jehovah is my God, His son is Jesus, his timetable is accurate and perfect, and when it is time for me to be judged, I damn well guarantee that He wont be asking any men what decision to make: ... Weather I am granted life or condemned to death, at least I'll know that the decision was fair and not based on any mans' imperfect reasoning." Probably not the answer they were expecting, but they had something to think about as they left. DONT GET SUCKERED INTO THAT QUESTION. (thank you brother Eric)

The elders came to my house a few years ago. They asked me if I trusted the faithful and discreet slave. I said yes, because Jesus said so. Fortunately, they did not ask me if I believed that the Governing Body was that slave! They simply assumed that I accepted that fact.

Jehovah God had an earthly organization with the nation of Israel. But Jesus told the Samaritan woman at the well that they would neither go to Jerusalem or the mountains there to worship. But they would "worship" the father in spirit & truth. God's children are everywhere not at one specific location of headquarters.
The sad thing is this - all of us HERETICS here once had the same beliefs & obedience as these elders.

When a person meets in this type of authoritative situation, they put themselves "under" the authority of an unchristian, ungodly hiarchy situation. Why would anyone voluntarily do that?

@@MarilynNemeth I did it to make fun of them. I was technically accused of refusing to stop associating with a disfellowshipped friend so I brought my friend to the committee meeting as a joke to say he was there to testify that he never associates with me. They wouldn't let him in lol.

I wanted to go to my judicial hearing. I was going to give them so much truth about Jesus they were going to fall back in their chairs! But I did reach out to my church and they said they are not there to listen to me but to judge me and i didn’t have to put myself through that. So I listened to them, reluctantly, and then I started listening to these recorded judicial hearings and they are told so much truth from the Bible and refuse to listen! I was shocked! And i am grateful to God for keeping me from that! He is so faithful!!
I'm coming to that same conclusion. It would use up a lot of adrenalin to meet with them. Even a conversation about declining to meet with them would take an expenditure of energy to which they are not entitled.
This brother resonates me. When 2 elders talked to me via phone call [ pandemic time 7/2021] I thought it was just knowing why it was almost 2 months that I was no longer attending the zoom meetings.. But little did I know, it was my judicial hearing. They have asked questions like
1.reasons of absences on zoom meetings
2.What is my viewpoint on the GB. Do I still believe that they are the channel of God to provide spiritual food for His organization?
3 . What is My viewpoint to them as elders.
So I told them all my doubts .Why I have doubts.The false teachings of the GB that I found out by means of my daily Bible reading. I told them everything .. And talking with them for almost 2 hrs made my phone empty battery. And then they said "we will call you again next week same day same time to see if my decision was final.. They were so annoying.literally annoying. And after the 2nd call they said "I have to submit disassociation letter to them. So I did. I stated all my reasons why I needed to leave.So they announced my name after the midweek meeting : sister T.S. is no longer a witness. now I'm free and happy. . Anyway, as I was walking out distraught and puffy eyed from crying, one of them cracked a stupid joke and they all cracked up laughing. I turned around and stared through the jerk’s soul and said “That’s NOT F#*?!$& funny! I’m done!” Faded and never went back. Life is amazing now!

You know what? Yeah, this JD defense was AWESOME, but as a enthusiastic of defenses at Judicial Mettings, he commit some mistakes, the author of this channel point some of them(like, kind of 'answer question' that he was not supouse to answer)

And BTW, i work in a theory that maybe you could defend youself, but you may had to use a APPEAL Judicial Metting.That way, they cant put 'new things' on the table, once the APPEAL should consider JUST the previous issue . A trick, is let them DF you fora silly reasons or silly arguments, and try defeat it on the appeal.
This was a fantastic inside watch. No direct accusation of apostasy. When the elders diverted to defending their man made organization they lost all site of assisting a “lost sheep”.
Shocking!!! Those elders heard that he’s had a terrible ordeal with the society over his land and he’s become stumbled. This didn’t have any cause to have a judicial hearing. They could have simply shown love and understanding and offered to go through his new understanding of what he’s reading in the Bible, but instead of that they are constantly bringing up the question of whether or not he believes in the organization. They haven’t done their shepherding at all and just hiding behind theyre tripartite.

Hats off, a round of applause for Maciej!!! I don't know how you did it. Every time I hear these, I am reminded and determined to never meet with them. I just could not do it. Plus, I live in a state in the US that requires two-person authorization to record so I would be tortured for no benefit. Love and respect for all of you who go through this.
What you could do is tell them upfront that you are recording them and when they tell you to turn it off, you could just sit there, say nothing, and just smile beatifically. It will drive them bonkers. They will eventually refuse to conduct the meeting and disfellowship you anyway, but you will be able to cherish the look on their faces for the rest of your life.

This JC was live-streamed. I had several witnesses as per their advice prior to the JC. They said: "You can have as many witnesses as you want". So I did... I asked them if they are okay with the witnesses and as you heard they ignored my question. I cannot help it if some of the very many witnesses recorded it. Who knows, maybe even the elders leaked it. Difficult to say at this point :)

I cant help but wonder what would have happened if the bro just sat there and only said "where is your second wittness?" Sadly the result is the same. I approached an elder and said if I should be treated like the men of the nations. I said well you go door to door talking to the men of the nations don't you. He said yes and I replied you talk to them and yet you will be shunning me so does that make any sense. I got no reply but left the elder with his mouth open looking confused. It was an uncomfortable silence.

He did a great job. In fact I offer the opposite opinion about language. He spoke about definite articles, translation from sources, and the inference is that meanings are assigned words, and so it's imperative to figure out the meaning, and not play fast and loose with the words to alter meaning according to whim. Whim, in this sense, is CONTROL.

These elders ARE quite obviously afraid of the Bible. They’re afraid of truth, even afraid of finding it out for themselves. I can’t believe how deep the GB has their hooks in these men. Sorry, but I would have lost all composure and patience with them after an hour of this travesty. I was screaming at my phone just listening to this.

I have developed so much hatred towards Jehovahs witnesses, don't know how to fixed those emotions
They are deluded. I remember thinking there could be nothing better in the world than to be a Jehovah’s Witness. Sooo deluded.

@@lalo2641 please do not let them rob you of your joy. I too have very many hateful and hurtful memories of things that have happened while I was a JW. It can consume you if you let it. There are actually therapist that specialize in helping people that have been in a cult. If it’s not possible to get to one in your area, I have found many videos on CZcams that have been helpful.
I don’t mean to diminish your pain and anger, but if you let it destroy you then they have won.
Try to let it go as much as possible and enjoy this beautiful life we have and the ability to exercise our free will. Trust in Jesus and read the Bible yourself and put the GB and rest of the cult behind you.

Isn’t announcing someone is no longer a JW from the platform, as well as reporting it to the branch, ridiculing this person? These elders continue to point three fingers back at themselves, as their analogies point out the misgiving of their own teachings.
When he was explaining in detail about the property that was snatched from his family it reminded of the classic film Judgement at Nuremberg. He felt compelled to explain how his family was wronged, like he was on trial and had to defend, and he was telling people just as cold and stoic as any prosecutors: They couldn't care less. They didn't even admit that was wrong that Bethel was not acting in accord with scriptures, such as it is better to be wrong then to lose your brothers (even though they were the ones wronging his family), admit that love of money superseded what was right, THEY KNEW WHY that family gave that property and should have given it back. I would classify that as immoral. Not only didn't they give it back, they weren't even thankful for it. They justify it in their minds that it was for "Jehovah" so therefore no other principles need to come into play.

Same thing happen with my husband judicial hearing. It was set with made decision,even before hearing begin. Totally horrible disgusting. I wonder when would Jehovah take action to all of these. What a disgrace to his name.
