Pilgrim's Rest residents fed up with illegal mining

Residents of Pilgrim's Rest in Mpumalanga say they are fed up with the illegal mining activities that are crippling the historic town.
The area has been a hotspot for illegal mining activities, which are also negatively impacting tourism.
Many of the illegal miners are foreign nationals from Zimbabwe, Lesotho and Mozambique.

This has been going on for years, and soldiers have been deployed in the area before,to do their thing, and then suddenly, the zama zamas 're back - in even greater numbers! It's like they're breeding or something 😭
