Hello and welcome. My name is Magdalena, and I am a dog groomer of 8+ years. I recently started a house-call dog grooming business that is based out of Boston. I am excited to share my knowledge with you all. If you are a novice groomer, a beginner, or just love dogs stay tuned!
Today I am grooming my friend Luna the mini poodle! Her mom loves her in a low-maitenance haircut, no brushing required. Short not shaved!
The haircut I describe in the video consists of
4 Blade(think curly coats) OR 2 Snap on comb (Thinner coats)
1 Snap on comb ankles and feet
1 Snap on comb all over the head and tail

When my clients say short I usually do a 4 or 5 blade. I only use a 7 if the dog is matted or owner requests as short as you can go

This is really cool to watch! I work solo at a small pet shop grooming dogs and i love the freedom of just me and the dog. But i can imagine a lot of them would do great with getting it all done at home! Thanks for posting :-)

The grey portable tub that was sitting in my storage unit is from Furesh on Amazon.
Also the grey T was from an Etsy store LilliNJune. I got it almost 2 years ago and it's just starting to wear out. I wear it almost every week.
i love when customers say short but not shaved (so i have to use a snap comb) but their dog is solid mat and i cant get the comb through it at all. And they act like they just dont understand why i have to shave their dog down to the skin cause its solid matt

The backpack is from G&B pro. There are 2 types of back packs. I have the smaller version
where did you get that small grooming table? and those thinners?
The small grooming table is from Flying Pig and the thinning shears are from ShearsDirect. I don't know the exact name of them.

Thanks Stacy 🥰. The backpack is from G&B Pro. My bag is the mini, they have a couple different kinds. The rolling bag, is a random makeup travel bag I got on Amazon.
