I have the psx3100 but I'm saving up for the 7000. Casio make brilliant and absolutely gorgeous pianos.

Love how you've made your keyboards and digital pianos stand out without sacrificing on quality,yet they are so affordable. This marketing strategy is seriously good. I do however think for the PXS 5000-7000 you should add the red color as well to the popular harmonious mustard (yellow), the black and white colors. Otherwise well done to make them super portable while allowing them to run on batteries AA then also have great quality speakers amongst the sugary goodness in terms of control

when it's available in India, hopefully there is not too much of a premium on it due to taxes, I will definitely get the px s 7000 in White. Most probably will have to wait at least 4 more months. I'm looking forward to a updated version of the privia pro 560MBE soon. Bought a CT S -1 use it for 3 months before my cousin took a fancy to it. I'm right now only using a small midi. 😄
A couple of questions.
1. Can you adjust (change function) of the pitch wheel to allow it be a mod wheel.jnstead for a DAW?
2. How are firmware updates done?

I missed the streaming. I wished they talked about knobs differences between PX s 6000 and 7000
Hi Michel, we briefly touched on the PX-S6000's knobs at 1:00:54, but here's some more info. The knobs let you modify sounds in real time as you play. They can control effects, envelopes, layer balance, and a lot of other things. On the PX-S7000, they are replaced by buttons which can be assigned to various functions like organ rotary speaker speed, arpeggio controls, and more.
@@casiomusicgear Thank you I own a px s3000 and understand the Knobs stuff. I was curious about the way you can play in real time on the px s7000 how do you apply a cutoff and resonance filter i.e? On the px s6000 you move the knobs and that's all, but what about the px s7000?

So, is the only difference between 6000 and 7000 in the number of sounds? I don't count the stand. As I really like the look of the 6000
How many splits and layers can you have at the same time? Also, can the point of splits be infinitely adjustable?
On the PX-6000 and 7000, you can have a maximum of 2 upper tones and 1 lower tone. The split point between upper and lower is fully adjustable.
Can you edit stage settings or whatever they're called to the same degree that you can on the px5s?
In general the PX-5S has deeper sound design capabilities, but you can still personalize the sounds on these instruments in very meaningful ways. This is especially true of the PX-S6000, thanks to its real-time control knobs and customizable DSP effects.

You make this piano sound so good...I have owned a Privia PX-850 for 8 plus years and the piano sounds are very realistic and full...its hard to tell that it is not a real acoustic piano...I just received my new PX-S7000 and am so disappointed in the thinness and muffled overtones in ALL of the piano samplings...The other samplings sound correct (organs, EP's, midi instruments) as do the demo songs (all 3 of them-even my $1000 PX-850 had 60 songs). I have tried all of the positions variations for sound and none of them improved this condition. It just does NOT sound like a real piano...not sure what the problem may be or if that is the way it is supposed to sound...If so, it is disappointing
I tried to play Moonlight Sonata 1st Movement on the PX-S7000 and it wasn't too playable. With the thumb and little finger both on black keys, my middle or ring finger needed to play a black key and need to touch the black key near the felt area, and it was so difficult to press down. It wasn't playable. I don't think Moonlight Sonata is only for "advanced classical players"... I don't know what will happen when people buy the PX-S7000, PX-S6000 and PX-S5000 and play some of their classical pieces and find it unplayable, and return the piano... there will be lots of refurbished pianos this way
guess what, to get the 3 grand piano sounds, you need to pay $2500? That's a bit too much... we can get the flagship Yamaha P515 for $1600 and flagship Kawai ES920 for $1800 and flagship Roland FP-90X for $2200... and Casio PX-S7000 is 56% and 39% and 13.6% more expensive? And we are forced to buy the stand? Come on... just give us 3 grand piano sounds with PX-S6000SE or PX-S7000SE between $1600 and $2000 without a stand

Will px s7000 harmonious mustard ever discontinue since the colour is so special and unique?? I want it so bad but it will take some time for me to save up for this since it's $4000aud in Australia 🥲
