This game is pure art. Not only does it have a great story with many dilemmas. It also shows different ways of psychologic behavior in conversations. I like how Mr Parr is being all aggresive and paralized in this version, whilst he is completely calm and certain in what he's doing and what's happening in others. This is just amazing. (excuse the english in case something is wrong/not understandable, not my main language)

I agree. I wish there were more games like this. Not the FMV aspect per say but a game where you are given many dilemmas and control the flow and outcome of the story. Not many games do this at all and the most popular ones do it poorly (Any telltale game).
My only gripe with this game is that the endings just seem rushed and incomplete which I am willing to put aside since it wasn't a big time dev team working on this.

Got this ending on my first playthrough, nice.
Loved this game, enjoyable and a real bargain - got it for 6 bucks.
A little bit short ending, wish there was an epilogue as well.

There is just a lot of unanswered questions that will be left to each and every one of us to imagine.

i came here after watching jacksepticeyes' video of this game and i wanted to see the better if not best ending, and here we are.
in jacksepticeyes playthrough of the game, he discovered May had been killed and (Matt?) got arrested right after, the original is in the chinese posession.
i'm more happy about this ending, and i theorize that they most likely became a real couple, and lived happily on the money, who knows, they might even have gotten married and had kids.
what i just told you is more likely the result if the characters were fiction but since this was acted out, they might not have gotten involved in some kind of relationship

Different people have different tolerances. Some can be completely immune. I am highly resistant myself.

In real life, his eyes would start watering, blurring his vision and he'd keep them closed since he's not trained to withstand it. While that's happening, pepper spray would also get into his nose and mouth, making him cough and making his breathing so hard until the point he thinks he's choking. Then disorientation kicks in as well as panic due to the breathing/pain problems and they would remain for up to 20 minutes with side effects lasting up to two days.
In case that the pepper spray expired, it'd be effective for at least 5 seconds, which is enough to defend yourself or run if you know how.

The guy dies, but the game ends after that because it was being looked at from his perspective. The final line is the Tchai member that speaks English telling Matt that May will tell them where the bowl is, eventually.

When I first played the game, the options I picked would be the options I'd do if it was in real life. So I'd try and run away from the gangsters at every chance I could and tell on them to the police. I guess this game taught me that being a good citizen doesn't always pay off and it helps to be scheming and devious

I'm finding myself watching more games than TV or movies. These writers and Developers are so talented and the content exceptional bringing interactive viewing to a whole new level. This concept was thought of back in the 70' I never thiught it would be called Gaming.
I almost got this ending on the first run by accident but when I got to the part where he breaks the bowl I decided to try to save it so I ended up getting it on my third playthrough this is one of the only games I got a bunch of the endings without a guide

Great walkthrough! I love this game but when I play it on my PS4 it has issues with the sound, sometimes the music is too loud so you can't hear them talking.

They are driving on the left side of the road but the seat in on the left side as well. Normally you sit on the right side in the car if you're driving a car bought in england.

My second walkthrough was similar to this, but I did some douchbag choices and end with a bad ending with the police getting the protagonist at the end.
As an actual game this would be pretty fun to play...

It's to dampen the contact when you slide the door open, to protect the side of the van and to make the door stop a bit softer.

Oh, this was the best/good ending? Damn, I got lucky to get it on the first try. At the end I thought I fucked up by putting the bowl on the table, so I figured if I stopped him from dropping it he would know it was real. It was an all or nothing bluff for me at that point.

you forgot to mention that may ling got him to pay a ransom for the bowl before they took the man away. kinda a cliff hanger really, because when mr par is dead and they see the last pay out was to her bank account it might raise suspicion or you can see it as they get a huge payday for it all.
The Tchois never cared about the money they just wanted the bowl. Plus the still have the 12.5 mill because the deal never went thru to Samuel Parr anyways.

geez if it wasnt for the subtitles i wouldnt know what anyone was saying at some points cause the audio mixing for this game is bad. Music is overpowering the dialog that i cant hear what anyone is saying.
Also im starting to see a "Until Dawn Syndrome" here where some of the choices dont matter and you end up doing something anyways. Like in the beginning there you get kidnapped no matter what. My "CinemaSins sense" is also tingling with all these weird outcomes here. They just dont make sense.
