The stroker is a good machine, especially in smaller wood that you’re only taking down to a certain top size; you can grab multiple stems for faster production. Definitely more complicated to move from job to job and has more moving parts.
This machine is in a way better than an actual danglehead waratah. I work around a cat 325 with a waratah, its fast for production and for spitting out wood quick, but ive seen them struggle with big logs. I can remember the operator had to get out and hand measure and buck. If he had a stroker it wouldve grabbed it easy. Feed rollers struggle on big logs. They spin out and wreck the logs

I run an old 320B with a Denharco limber and it still does good for an old girl. I'd love to try that new machine

Picking up the logs.
@selssius its not a processor its actually refered as a stroker.
verry cool
very nice delimber
Nice piece of equipment and a great operator..
Where about's was this video taken?
Thats a crazy looking machine, is it difficult to up keep? (looks delicate and complex)
Indeed, the engineer who projected this machine might have been out of this mind that day 🧐
It looks more complicated than a processing head

Coming from running a south star dangle head running one of these would be painful haha. I could run circles around it
Agreed!
They both have their place. We own both, dangle heads and stroker
I've run log max, waratah, and currently southstar and I agree. Only thing this has is lots of reach. But it is sloooooooow
Yeah and you can’t fell with it either. But the 622B does struggle with big wood.
this reminds me of the orgazma-gizmo-mit-action-pumpo
It looks slow compared to a processing head, and much more expensive too
a lot less downtime than a dangle head though. End of the month, the stroker usually always wins in the profit column.
