I don't understand what's with Samsung and the bezels they always tend to thicken bezels year by year. The a51 had slimmer bezels now its much thicker.
To differentiate between devices, s23 fe with s23 bezels will be just another flagship but they want to sell the s23 too like they had plastic back before
@mahmoudsamir6882 well the s21 fe also had more bezels than the s21 the s23 fe could've kept the same bezels, the galaxy a51 had slim bezels than they started to make it thicker.

Both chipsets are already very powerful to the point that even basic phone tasks are hard to notice the difference. but if you do a comparison on a heavy game with the fps average between two phones then it is gonna be noticable.
Just got the 21 FE today like you im into older flagships,just got this for 190 plus tax outside of a small knick on the bottom right corner ,excellent condition. When I turned it on and checked it was on Android 12 and a March security patch,that told me this phone had not been used ,good deal
The only problem my s21 fe had was getting hot in the car during summer. Other than that i loved it
I thought FE stand for Fan Edition... I doubt fans wanted thicker bezels
My upgrade was from an S10e to the S23fe, the loss is on size, my gain was on battery life and Android support. Was worth it? In my case yes, but moving from the S21Fe to the S23Fe is more like a whim in terms of real use, real value, making the most out of your money

From the S21 FE to S23 FE: I would say don’t upgrade and you can wait a year or two.
From the S20 FE I would say yes upgrade. The S20 is stuck on Android 13/ One UI 5, and I prefer being on the latest Android version.
I'd say even on s20 fe hold out one more year. You can go for S24 fe or 512gb discounted S23 plus.
Cool comparison. My thoughts: from the front, 21FE definitely looks better with the thinner bezels - the S23FE has got some A series vibes going on with those thick bezels.

I was grateful for my S21 Fe when I saw the S23 Fe. it has a thicker bezer, the specs haven't improved much, and the 60fps camera still can't change lenses.
Upgraded to s23 fe from z fold 3 and even tho the ram is identical its a major speed difference
Add emulation to your benchmarks thats when you will see a dufference in speed.PS2 emulation or wii emulation

Thank you for confirming the bezel size difference. I already suspected that S23 FE had bigger bezels than S21 FE. I was confused which one to buy but now I have made up my mind., S21 FE all the way.

If you haven't made a purchase yet, I can confirm that the bezels aren't noticeable when holding and using the phone. It was also something I was worried about, but I've had the phone for about 2 weeks now and I forget they're there.

I wanted a flagship level phone that I'd pay off over 3 years after using midrange phones for years, and I couldn't get an s21 or any of those, so the FE allowed me to afford a flagship level phone without paying all the money the s23 would have cost (double in my case).

No one cares or will see the bezels lmfao. S23 fe is way faster, by a lot. Almost a 3 yr newer processor. Proven the s23 fe is the better buy.
Scrolling the screen and opening an app tells little about performance. The s23 FE's Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 easily outperforms the S21 FE's Snapdragon 888. If you're only looking to keep it for a year, two at the most, the s21 FE may be a fine, cost-effective choice, but for any longevity the s23 FE makes more sense - better processor, newer battery, more upgrades.

A54 dont have wireless charge unlike s21fe/s23 fe. Maybe this is the reason it has slightly more powerful battery.

@Oleg_Semashko they could've putted 5000mAh but they didn't to make the s23+ not look worse because the truth is because the s23 fe is a bulky phone compared to the s23+ and the s21fe they could've easily fitted a 5000mah battery, the truth is they just want to up sell you and make it look like they are offering a good value, because the s23 fe is basically a $449 phone not $599, like you could find an s23+ for around $599 what's the point. 5000mAh should become the base instead if an ultra size, the standard should have 5000mAh, the plus should get 5500-5700mAh and the ultra should get 6000-6500mAh battery but the truth is they keep cheaping out with 5000mAh battery, one plus 12 pro got a battery increase to 5400mAh and it's been 5 generations since Samsung has been giving us the same old 5000mAh and the same 45W super fast charging for 6 generations. Apple, Samsung, and Google should follow the strategy the of chineese phone, the reason why they have such big battery and high speed is because they split the battery into 2 3000mAh battery which allows for better heat deception and allows for faster charging speed without having your battery to degrade fast which also allows faster wireless charging, these companies should split there battery into 2 so the phone wouldn't heat much as much

Both make artificial fake photos. The difference is very small. Contrast is comical

Flagship level phones are pretty good. You won't notice major diff
Not so much the case with phones released within the last two years like the Galaxy S21. Still has another 2 years of updates if you count security updates. S21FE has an extra year on top of that. Used Pixel 6's are pretty cheap now and those have 3+ years of support left.
2/3 years of support is reasonable on a phone under $300.

S21 FE has better bezels and real proximity sensor. The idea is to improve, not go backwards. S21 FE is nice, except for temps and battery life.

I was going to get this one, but I was going to buy the s23fe but now seeing samsung did this I might just buy a galaxy s22! Samsung is the reason the fe line up is not selling.

@@rixxy87 Anything less intensive than Warzone Mobile plays fine on the SD888. Warzone is playable, but not at 60 fps (for me anyway).

@@X-starco it's still decent. I had this phone for almost 3 years and it still makes it through the full at with moderate use. I actually find it amazing how well this phone still runs. Bear in mind mine is a snap dragon variant.
