Fyi.. Chilli paneer and Battered prawns are not srilankan dishes and that dreaded diabolical dessert hopper as well. The others were.That egg hopper with the crushed pepper on top was looking mighty fineeee. Thanks for giving a our cuisine a bit of a whirl, much love❤

I have worked in Sri Lanka for 4 yrs and still visit Sri Lanka every 6 months.Sri Lankan home.made food is the best Kiri bhat, Polos, pol sambhol, kankun, Gotukola. The stuff you get in restaurant is too fancy.
Whenever I am in Colombo it's my friends mom who cooks for me.

Chilli paneer is not sri lankan we don't eat paneer at all , but others are correct
we eat hoppers mostly plain hoppers or Egg hoppers with a very hot sambal or with a sweet and spicy onion sambal , other varieties of Hoppers depends on the creativeness of the Restaurant
