AXBB-E Ethernet CNC Controller #4 DC I/O's and Port 3 UCSB Board

- Showing the idea of I/O setup in the AXBB-E CNC Motion Controller. The controller has 3 ports which deliver different kinds of Inputs and Outputs. We will take a look how to configure inputs and outputs. Also I'll try to make some tests of the UCSB Breakout Board which allows us to expand the I/O of the AXBB-E Controller by 12 more outputs and 5 inputs.

Thanks, I'm just trying to connect UCSB myself. For example, in order to connect many sensore or anything else in parallel, I decided to use PCB terminals, I want to solder the boards, instead of terminal blocks like yours, to be cleaner)) And so your videos are very useful. Please continue.
Great! There are so many inputs in this controller with the additional port 3 and I still would have some ideas for more inputs (for example I had to wire up the limit switches in parallel in my machine). I'm glad my videos are helpful.

Hace años que uso MACH3 y quiero probar este que me han dicho que va muy bien. La verdad es que lo beses cargado y lo he trasteado en modo demo y tiene muy buena pinta. El lunes sale todo desde Hungría para España. Gracias!!!

Hi, I'm french. I have an AXBBE and I don't manage to install my probe. There is 3 wires : signal, + and -. Can you help me to install it and configured correctly on UCCNC. Thanks you
Hi! I'll make a video about that soon. My probe is a 24VDC NPN sensor. So I wired mine to the + and - and the input 4 of port 2 if I remember correctly. If your probe is NPN then you can attach the signal to input (-) and input (+) to the dc power supply +. If you have PNP you do the opposite - signal is + and - goes to the power supply.

I'm not sure I understood correctly, does your probe have 2 or 3 wires?
@@user-cr2bx8hi8c NPN and PNP- type sensors / probes have 3 wires (same as mine has 3 wires). The difference is when you have a NPN probe then the signal wire goes to the "-" input of your device (for example our CNC controller). If you have a PNP probe then the signal wire goes to the "+" input of your device.

I use on my machine an asus vt207n (used one, bought for cheap, works fine). But beyond that - I don't have any more experience with touch displays :)
Is this the best board for uccnc?
Depends what is your main criteria. I liked it a lot but the other ones should be good too if you have other needs. Check how much analog inputs / outputs, digital inputs / outputs you need. How many axes have to be controlled etc. It all depends on how complicated your machine will be. The axbb-e has 24VDC input / outputs terminals which the other models don't have - those need breakout boards from what I know. Check on cncdrive.com for more info.

Oscylacyjny to 2 silniki na działanie + dodatkowy na z2 a atc wymaga 1
@@OnlyMadnessPain Pytanie ile to w sumie będzie osi i o jakim sterowniku mowa bo np. AXBB-E obsłuży maksymalnie 6 osi a jeżeli by to była frezarka i jeżeli dojdą 4 osie, no to wychodziłoby 7 osi (przyjmując, że to nie jest bramówka, która ma z reguły jeszcze jedną oś więcej).

Ewentualnie mogę dać wspólne z chociaż to byłoby o tyle problematyczne że w takim przypadku będę musiał zdejmować nóż
Też inna sprawa że mogę podpiąć 2 drivery pod jedno złącze na osi y

W sumie to z2 to moge dać jakiegoś switcha i podpiąć pod to samo co Z1 i ustawić że za każdym razem jak będzie outout na switcha to zeruje os do czujnika na górze
