Nick Pellett from the De Dion Bouton Club UK passionately describes the ingenuity, delevopment and surprising impact of these machines - produced in the late 1800's. De Dion Bouton's pioneering engine design - as seen as seen in these tricycles - was pivotal in the evolution of the combustion engines in the motoring industry.
De Dion-Bouton was a French automobile manufacturer operating from 1883 to 1953. The company was founded by the Marquis Jules-Albert de Dion, Georges Bouton and Charles Trépardoux.

I've almost completely gathered all the bits to build mine from scratch but it will be powered by a 7 horse power German monster and will be street legal! Stay tuned!
