7,000 PopSockets! I Create a Giant Fidget Floor

- Try Opera browser FOR FREE here opr.as/Opera-b... I use 7 ,000 PopSockets to create a giant fidget floor surface. Christine deserves this ultimate satisfying and stress relieving fidget toy. Also, enjoy this clip show of me stressing her out through the years and creating messes! I make a fake floor, paint it, staple it, stick all the PopSockets, sand them, prime them, paint them in a perfect gradient from mermaid green to white. Then I pop all of them up at once for Christine to walk all over and pop down with her whole body.
You may have seen my giant fidget wall with 3,200 PopSockets and transforming my car into a drivable kinetic sculpture with 9,000 more. This time I wanted to make an art installation with my floor as one giant stress-relief gift.

The simple way Christine says "Yeah, I think your voice needs to be heard" says it all I think. Such a simple and earnest show of support is incredible and invaluable. Not everyone shows their affection and care in easy to understand ways, but the effort you went through to do something for her makes it clear. The two of you aren't just "couple" goals, you're people goals.

You need pop sockets where you can suction them up in sections, so it only takes 20-30 mins to reset, rather than 2 hrs 30 mins! What a fantastic effort & result! This would be great for kids (and adults!) with ADD/ADHD, Autism or even PTSD & other issues. Absolutely Brilliant.

5, I found a compact ceiling fan with a circular light around it. I'm putting it on a tripod.
idea... rig up some sort of pressurized air delivery system, or something, under the popsockets so you can easily reset them and then she can pop them to her hearts content 🥰

I am amazed how well the gradient turned out. The math and technique were solid, but many stripes are many stripes, but the final effect is surprisingly subtle.
How do -I- destress? I watch videos on youtube, usually trivia and useless facts, sometimes music, and occasionally this crazy artist who does outrageous projects.
I got so emotional watching this! And the look of pure, childlike joy on Christine’s face when she started rolling all over them 🥹 This was a statement of love and it was beautiful to witness.

With as much as you seem to play with Pop sockets, I'm surprised you haven't had some sort of tool created to pop multiples up at once, maybe something like a rake that can get under multiples, and just lift them up.
