2006 Jeep LIBERTY DIY Back DOOR LOCK Latch ACTUATOR Easy Fix Removal/Install 02-07

My 2006 Jeep Liberty Renegade back door lock actuator wouldn't stay latched. I tried cleaning and lubricating it but it was worn out. Bought the Dorman 931-692 rear door lock actuator but it was slightly different than an OEM unit and I had to improvise a bit. So I would reccomend getting a Jeep/Mopar original lock or compare the aftermarket lcok to yours visually before you buy. But I was able to get the Dorman latch to work. This DIY fix applies to all Jeep Libery Sport, Limited and Renegade model years 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007.
