Thank you for showing the Bengali draping style. But the last portion of the saree which you showed came in front should actually go behind on that same shoulder. that's how our grandmothers tie-up coins or keys and put the pallu behind.

I'm a bengali and my mom can't do this type of drape. She used to find it too boring to learn! My paternal grandma is no more and my maternal grandma is too old to even stand up, much less teach me. She also suffers from dementia. I used to feel the other bengali drape videos weren't as thorough as you but i think the earlier videos you did aren't the traditional bengali drape. So thanks for this.... it brings me a little closer to my traditions. Keep up the good work.

Hi Dolly ji. your video is amazing. I always loved to wear saari, to the extent that I wore saree in house parties and did all cooking and serving while wearing saari. My blouse was always full length because I didnt like to show abdomen or back area of body. Now, the problem is that , by the time, I have a bit big tummy and all my blouses slip up the tummy after wearing saari. Someone suggested that I should wear kurta blouse and drape saari from behind to front. I want to look graceful while wearing kurta blouse. Could you please make a video by showing kurta blouse saari from behind to front drape, so that my tummy and back are not shown? I will appreciate and really grateful if you could make a video in this style

As I am new to your channel today I have seen many of the videos of saree draping and carring the dupattas. I love your videos its really worth it for the beginners. I am belongs from Rajasthan with touched the Punjab and Pakistan border. So here in our city mostly people wear the punjabi suits, so we people loves the heavy dupattas with suits. Can you please make the videos on it? How to carry the heavy dupattas on different style of suits. Please make the tutorial on different carring styles of dupattas.

Loved it.Its not a baluchari.Its more like a benarasi.Where did you get the saree from?I have often seen women take out a single pleat from the right side of the saree and pin it on the right back corner of the blouse and take the right pallu out from under your arm.
