The shadow haze augment, from my own understanding, also affects his shadow forms 3rd ability. Ive noticed it spawns shadows after casting and killing an enemy. It does the same as what it does in sevagoths normal mode, but instead spawns all 3 shadows all at once. Cant confirm if the augment is whats truly doing it, but since putting it on, using the shadow form has been much more enjoyable cause of its aoe potential
Imo he was never “food for Helminth” people just understandably didn’t wanna sink 10000000 forma into a non prime frame. He was pretty good at full build tbh. I wanna put forma into him, but I just don’t feel like it yet. Waiting for his prime.
Your not wrong the problem is people can’t be bothered with despite being one of the strongest frames
If you are concerned about survivability on the shadow, use vigilate vigor, fast deflection, and catalyzing shields with the guardian mod on your companion. I've gone to level 700 enemies with that setup and he can last a good bit out in the open. Slap some yellow shards for casting speed on him and the shadow will also adopt them as well making alternating between forms incredibly quick and fluid. Also if you have arcane energize on Sevagoth, you SHOULD put it on the Shadow as well. Procing energize on the Shadow will give your base form energy as well.

Nourish works wonders, but you will need arcane energize for his shadow.
I recommend Shadow Haze builds to Subsume his 2, it's useless now that the Ghosts do more work and his 4 has full armor strip potential.
I love this set up. Sevagoth's Gloom is really fun to use on a few of my own Frames. Great video, GHS Viewer out lol 👍
Since companion rework I haven't gone down once in SP.
With a Diriga + Helstrum (with cold & radiation) I can freely scan for Cephalon Simaris targets without even checking for my health.
The companion rework is great and there are lots of synergies that are fun to play with right now.
What needs to happen is a small vacuum effect needs to happen when getting souls for the revive...cause imo the hitbox is so small I usually push enemies aside while gliding past them instead of devouring them...
Also, sevagoth is the new limbo...an anti public game frame, cause the gloom slows down gameplay so much for everyone else that I find alot of people quit the match when a sevagoth shows up...
Edit: took the breach surge idea and made a decent build that punishes, and his passive immortality has a fun combo with nautilus and cordon lol
Yeah that's why I don't put too much range on my sevagoth because you will get that cursing a lot in pubs lol
I am a sevagoth main. Imma be in the grind saving up in platinum to get food stuff and farm da mods to make him stronger.also get stronger weapons for him. Dont have any helmenth abilitys in him bc I was too stubborn to keep the vanilla kit on him. But some videos reminded me it is k to make him stronger.
I made a Breach Surge Sevagoth as well, but replaced gloom. reason?
1) I have no problem with survivability with his passive, blind, rad procs (you can heavy melee slam with his passives shadow for more CC. 2) Blind enemies take steal damage, which is the easiest way to boost the shadows claw, as roar/eclipse/Whisper wound not affect him.
3) Shadow claws damage and a 4x Breach Surge is some silly damage numbers :)
I used my Sevagoth after making a good build for him and im shredding enemies like they are NOTHING, im still on the normal star chart so the fact i can shred level 90’s means a crap ton to me

I've already reached steel path with Sevagoth never had an issue. Never helminthed any abilities as they are all critical for Sevagoths survivability.
Yeah I agree. Sevagoths need to stay alive which is hard in sp that I struggle myself to play in so but over time I started getting used to getting better at surviving. Rolling guard is a good mod to use in him, better for higher level caps.
I think they should remove gloom energy consumption while 4 is active, so that the 4 can actually be used effectively, well it might be kinda OP for gloom to be active with no energy consumption but atleast it will increase sevagoth pick rate
So many frames have cool down abilities at this point that I feel squishy casters should get it by default. Let us put the ability on cool down and use enemy kills to raise the duration.

Im gonna try this build, minus Breach Surge. I just cant stand it as an ability, and i personally feel like its a massive crutch in most content. Yeah it makes sense if youre doing multiple hour sp survivals, but outside of that its just horribly unnecessary.
Sevagoth is best with his shadow it's his tank side and energy gain
Honestly tho sevagoth has no problems its all about your builds and skill, same with every frame and ive done 50+ waves defense steel path solo vs all 3 factions and energy is no issue just use equilibrium and synth deconstruct, lvl cap all factions on steel path disruption no issues and quess what he doesn't need helminth to do it. Ur making sevagoth videos and keep talking about gloom gloom gloom.. bro everyone knows already, u did make some good points about him but make a build video without downgrading the frame, omg, and most frames need his ability the have any use and that doesn't make them better but all am hearing is gloom forma helminth gloom forma helminth lol Its kinda annoying
Yeah, sevagoth is not just fodder for helmenth. He is a good frame to use, people just don't give sevagoth a chance to play as him themselves. I've became a sevagoth main the moment I saw sevagoth in a ad for Warframe. Sevagoth is the reason I play Warframe at all!

Tried that already and while it's good in steel path levels, it gets wrecked by level 500. But only a few will go into that level though

You seriously do not need all that forma. You need at the very least 2 max for shadow and sevagoth himself. There's no reason to even forma his shadow's claws that much unless you're building specifically into it

I think he can be the most powerful warfare in the game. But you gonna have to use umber five formula on him. energizer and crystals that has energy generation. Can’t be for sure but I’m going to wait for the prime version to come out to test this. And his augment mod powerful is OP

I think so, either way it doesn't heal. And you have to recast his stomp. So I like Gloom more than his stomp tbh.
@mgbm8335 yea but also as a rhino, healing should never be a issue to you cause of iron skin, and then you have the damage bonus from roar plus you can slap say nourish over his 1 and have even more damage going out while keeping your big 40m or so stomp and nourish making it so you pretty much never run out of energy and this is all while still being able to run a 300% str build with augments cause imo armor mods are pointless for him, it's better to just be ready to recast it cause it's overguards gonna get ez dropped later on anyway
I prefer they gift protea instead. She is faaaaar worse to farm. Sevagoth is so easy to farm. Because you farm holokeys, relics, ducats and intrinsics at the same time
I do agree, I farmed sevagoth very quickly. I still haven't gotten a protea part, between two different accounts as well.

"Good" or "bad" warframe honestly does not mean to much in this game. If like a warframe, and have knowledge, skill, mods, arcanes, and crystals that warframe could clear level 150+ plus easy, no matter what even if it is technically "bad".
Well Yes and no. Although what you are saying is technically true "Every Warframe is OP once properly Modded".
Some Warframes are way more Valuable in specific missions than others. Quick Example you Have an Interception Mission Which Warframe would you take if you were playing Solo? Maxed Range Limbo or Atlas?
Yes sure some Warframes are more Easily Adaptive on a various type of missions Like Hyldrin can be played on almost every type of mission.

Survival. Waves of enemies with limited life support, and the only way to keep life support on is to kill enemies that have a small personal life support module on their person. Basically kill and collect, and stay alive.

The last time I clicked one of these videos wasn't it like a vocaloid talking? I wasnt expecting an actual voice, but I may be thinking of a different channel. I dont actively follow these warframe creators all the time so maybe I made a mistake.
