1979 Range Rover Classic 2 Door restored by Famous Four.
Originally a very structurally sound example which was in need of cosmetic improvement when it first arrived with us; our brief was to restore the vehicle to showroom condition. All outer body panels were removed, inspected, and either repaired or replaced. New front wings, tailgate, dry-climate doors, replacement bonnet and roof panels were prepared in the original Sahara Dust colour and re-fitted, along with new trims - sill finishers, all rubber seals, bonnet mirrors, etc., all re-manufactured by Famous Four and available to order via our website. A new interior was fitted; headlining, door and side trim cards, carpets, refurbished inner door handles, jack and tools, instrument binnacle, gear lever knobs, and bespoke one-off seats with in-house designed extended seat runners for taller drivers.
We completed a full mechanical inpsection, rectifying any issues that might cause any concern.
The result is one of the very best presented and useable Classic 2 doors available, with a strong V8 petrol engine, reconditioned 4 speed gearbox with fully working overdrive, and looks to bring delight to faces wherever you go.
