I have this phone. 12/256gb version and let me tell you, buy it.
This phone isn't laggy at ALL. Its smooth as butter, the display is insanely beautiful it has awesome viewing angles, the build quality feels solid and premium and the battery life is EASILY 7H+ SOT on a full charge

Why Floss is the best.
Dude not only gives you a full rundown of the phone he's reviewing, he gives his honest opinion if there's something better out there and what your other options are. Nobody, I mean NOBODY else is doing that. The other people just give the review of the phone and that's it. Only Floss tells the whole story and if there's something else you should consider for the specs and price of the phone he's reviewing.

A55 has expandable memory up to 1TB and you can add wireless charging. You can't add memory to S23FE. That's a big difference.
I always love that you review devices of all prices and brands I don’t buy anything until I get the flossy seal of approval.

@@Jthall1990 the battery life isn't the best, but a full charge last a working day for me with mixed use. But maybe I set my expectations too high. Other than that, I haven't had any issues with it. It's a good phone, reverse wireless charging, fast enough to keep up with whatever I'm doing, the cameras are good. So if you're considering it, it's a thumbs up from me

@@pewdieclaps7137 personally, I like the size. Not too small, not too big. I've compared it to a couple of my friend's phones (S24+ and iPhone 15 Pro), and the size difference is not really noticeable, except maybe the iPhone

I got the A55 for £29.99 with a two year contract with Unlimited data for £25 so I stuck the sim in my iPhone and now got me a sams back up phone.
Flossy you are so on point for reviewing phones that are budget friendly. People need to have selections in these hard economic times. Personally I have the Samsung S23 plus and this phone is awesome and don't need anything lesser but I appreciate you giving people choices. Love ❤ your phone reviews.

I owned the a50 for a year and half and i paid 20k inr around 250$ for that price and at that time it was a steal but now they 2x ed the price in the a series, at this a55 price i would rather get a 1 plus 12r any day.
I loved this style of video vs those highly-edited-multiple-angled-flashy videos.

I've been using the Galaxy S21 Ultra since day1, been waiting for the right device to come along to do an upgrade & if Samsung doesn't do justice & bring their A-Game with the Fold 6 this is the one I'm looking at, but I NEED a Flossy review 1st! If I had to buy a new phone, I would probably buy the Nothing Phone 2a. But this is 100% good phone too. In Finland, this A50 series has been the most popular phone for years

@@ChillydontCap It might be good on S23 Fe but not better than Galaxy A55. The only reason to consider A55 over S23 Fe is battery life otherwise S23 Fe anyday over Similarly priced Galaxy A55.
@@ShoebKhan-lh3tp you do understand that A series phones have less flagship features than S series phones? So obviously features are going to effect battery life right? No one in their right mind recommends A series over S series. I mean I don't have a lot of money, but the FEs are made for people without a lot of money but still want a flagship like experience. Processor better, Wireless charging, Reverse wireless charging, DEX mode, build quality, cameras. Just a few things.
I really like this A series. My dream phone Galapxy A55.

Floss, I've been using the A50 right since the launch and it still serves me well. Yes it lags from time to time and there are hiccups but I am amazed at how it performs good for the most part even after 5 years of heavy use. I might just upgrade the A55 this year or wait for the price to drop on the Galactus!
Just get it mate, I jumped from the A51 to the A55 and the difference was galaxies apart (pun not indented) the biggest difference for me was the speakers, I didn't even know speaker could be this good but it was a pleasant surprise
I jumped from the A50 to the A55, zero regrets (although I did need to install GoodLock to get samsung gestures back, the stock android gestures kind of sucked & I still had a visible mark on the bottom of the display).

@IamJay02 not really , I'd take the A55's wide screen 19:5:9 aspect ratio over that tall Skinny Narrow 20:9 screen the oneplus has ANY DAY. All other brands besides samsung and apple are all stuck with these skinny 20:9 screens like I hope they would just move on already.

The thing I don't like about the FE series, is that sure, it has flagship processing power, but it has limited flash storage AND has no option for micro-SD cards. If you want big storage for your phone, 128 gigs is just not going to cut it on its own. I have been all-in on micro-SD for over ten years now. It makes migrating to another phone much easier, and reduces storage headaches along the way. You can get a 1.5 TB card for $100, which is likely way more than most people need (I'm currently using a 400 gig card), but that is a viable option if you have a mid-range phone like the A-series, as long as you don't need flagship power. That's your key tradeoff.

Damn Samsung, for my money, biometrics need to be 9/10, not 2/10. As a tech nerd, I can handle some trash, but if I'm suggesting a phone to my mom or my girl, they're gonna be on my ass if the face unlock isn't working every time. If Apple, Xiaomi, and OnePlus can do it, Google and Samsung don't have an excuse

Got my A55 in 256GB lilac (finally switching from my poor old S9+ of around 7y lifespan) and not to mention the friendly price, I managed to catch the official retailer 80eur cashback that Samsung is offering, and honestly, that makes it a no brainer for me.
