AlhamduliAllah I proudly say that i don't give phone to my kids. Both girls are under 10 years. They know our mother doesn't give so they don't ask to use phone.
From childhood I never allow to use phone. For any school activity, I show on laptop. Now i am so habitual to hide my phone from kids. Sometimes i forget where i kept my phone.

I have provided controlled access to screens to my daughter, and she has been able to develop language skills in Sindhi, English, and Urdu and is now learning Korean. With proper guidance and supervision, screens can be utilized as educational resources and platforms for learning.
Rember, each child is unique, and screen time management may vary based on factors such as age, developmental stage, and individual needs. It's essential for parents to strike a balance between screen use and other activities, such as outdoor play, social interaction, and offline learning experiences.

2. Curated Entertainment: Choose child-friendly platforms like Netflix Kids or CZcams Kids. However, always monitor the content to ensure its appropriateness.
3. Educational Games: Kids enjoy playing games, but it's important to choose wisely. Opt for educational games and purchase them to avoid mobile ads. This ensures that your child is learning while playing.
4. Outdoor Activities: On weekends, encourage outdoor activities by taking your child to the park. If that's not possible, create a playroom at home themed like a kids' cafe. Provide them with various play materials like slime, kinetic sand, crayons, and blocks.
5. Parental Engagement: The most important aspect of a child's development is the time spent with their parents. Engage with your child in their favourite activities, as they tend to mimic what they see. For example, my daughter, who will be turning 4 in September, prefers playing with us over screen time.
